View Talay Holiday Resort is the one near soi 5 Jomtien Beach, as I got from navigating on net. Just know that the resort is composed by villas and studio apartments

1 Pattaya has a big amount of social clubs only they are not based on gambling as Gambling is not permitted by law. otherwise lots of social clubs in Pattaya, Sports clubs, Rotary clubs, motorcycle clubs, all kind of clubs

2 Backpackers hotels??? Why have a backpacker hotel with dormitories as you suggested as a backpacker can go sleep in a single room for the price where in other places but Pattaya sleep in a dormitory. Pattaya is the City where hotel rooms are cheapest in the country no backpacker hotels can compete with those prices.

3 funeral parlours?? According to Budhist believes the death person stays a certain amount of days in the house and then gets transferred to a monestary where he gets cremated. What if a farang dies? He is transfered to the appropriate Embassy.

4 Cemetaries??? there are planty cemetaries in and around Pattaya on your way to sri racha for one you have a big one allready not budhist but a chinese cemetary. Also in Soi Bokuaw there is one large one.

5 Horse racing. The Royal Bangkok Sports Club has a world class horse racing track near Lumpini Park where officialhorse racings are held on a regular base. As said earlier gambling is not allowed in Thailmand though horse racing is if bound to very strict rules and regulations. So in order to be able to gamble on horses you need to be licensed and a member of the RBSC. For that same reasonHorse racing is not allowed in Thailand but I am sure it happens in places underground.

6 Public Libraries?? If I am cooorect there is one in Soi Bokuaw somewhere right? Maybe people moreinto books can help me out here but I know fort a fact there is a big library in Bangkok in one of the universities there.

7 Public Parks??? First of isnt Pattaya itself not a big enough public park for you?? Second if you mean a park with walk paths and trees there are several in the Pattaya region actualy too many to mention one of them on top of Budha Hill.

So I hope next time around you get your eyes out of your pockets and actualy try to explore Thailand and you will see Pattaya has much more to effer then the bars and girls you seem to visit frequent.

Rescuers rescue Austalian man in Pattaya sea

CHON BURI: -- An Australian man was rescued early Thursday after he swam out to the sea, saying he wanted to swim back to his motherland.

The tourist was identified as Trevor John Harrigan, 38.

Police said the man damaged a motorcycle and took off his clothes and ran out to the sea in front of Imperial Residence Hotel on Pattaya Beach in Bang Lamung district at 2:30 am.

Rescuers spent over an hour searching the sea for the man and he was later spotted hanging on to a passenger ferry, which was anchored off the beach.

Seeing rescuers, the man swam away from the boat, shouting he wanted to swim back to Australia.

Rescuers spent several minutes to convince him to be helped out of the water.

The man was charged with causing disturbance after drunk.

The man checked into the hotel on October 18.

A bar girl told police that the Australian man told her that he had been pickpocketted and when he filed complaint with police, he was beaten up for allegedly telling lies.

The girl quoted the man as saying that he was asked to leave the hotel for fearing to pay his bill.

when you add bacteria activator you have no odor or bad smelling in your hause if the septic tank is very closed from your hause !

in my case the septic tank is only 4 meter from bathroom !

and anyway the cost is only a few bath every month !!! around 10 bath a month for no bad smelling!!!

If you want it emtpied, ring CITY HALL and get the big ORANGE truck out to do it at 300 Baht a tank (I have 2). City Hall logo on the drivers door.

BE WARNED that there is a BLUE one going arround claiming to be sent round by City Hall then while quoting - say - 10 Baht an inch, but end up giving you a bill for 4,000 Baht !! They tried it on me and I almost got caught as I had asked my House Agent to clean the tank, and they tried just at the right time. There was a warning sign in our village.

A friend of mine got caught and paid the 4,000 Baht. Fresh out from the UK, did not know he was being overcharged !

At 7pm on 17th June Banglamung Police Station was informed by Klongtan Station Police in Bangkok that a lady boy phoned the station and confessed that he had murdered an engineer at San

Dynamo car repair shop located on Sukhumvit Road, Naklua.

After getting the information the Banglamung Police quickly informed the Sawang Boriboon to ask for assistance and rushed to the location.

On arrival they found the place to be a 3 storey building. In the bathroom of the 1st floor they found the body of Mr. Wasan Khamwilai, aged 45, wrapped up in bed sheets and plastic and his neck was tied with a side-pillow sheet. He had been hit on the head with something hard and strangled.

The doctor said that he must have died about 13 hours ago.

Later, reporters called to interview Police Sub-Lieutenant Thawit Thuengchan of Klongtan Police Station in Bangkok. He stated that earlier he received a telephone call asking for police assistance at Marble Place located in Soi Onnut 17.

When officers arrived they met Miss Khanittha Chortham, aged 42, together with the lady boy, Mr. Saran Panket, aged 38.

Saran told the officers that he was hired by Miss Khanittha to kill Mr. Wasan.

Saran stated that she took him to stay at the place of the incident, and then they planned the killing.

On 16th June Miss Khanittha deliberately started an argument with her husband Mr. Wasan and then left to stay in Bangkok with her mother in Onnut Soi 17.

Later that night Saran sneaked into the repair shop and murdered the man by first hitting him on the head with a thick plank and then dragged him into the bathroom and suffocating him with a long pillow case.

As for the reason Miss Khanittha ordered his death; Saran stated that she told him it was because her newly wedded husband of 2 months Wasan would always get drunk and hit her and she couldn’t stand it anymore.

After the murder, Saran drove to Bangkok with the dead man’s Ford car to see Khanittha, but then in remorse and guilt he confessed his crime to the police.

Khanittha is denying all charges and more questioning must be made to get to the bottom of this story.
