  1. Can they get on a flight without a test? You cannot travel freely within the EU without testing. Im really not sure where you get your info from but its really not correct
  2. you do know that in the UK nearly 90% of adults with young children have already had 2 jabs. So im presuming its the 10% with no jabs that are in hospital? Trust me if this was the case it would be peddled by the media and we would all know about it.
  3. That doesn't work, really its getting tiresome but please do some basic research and what the vaccine does. Some folks have had 2 jabs, some in Israel have had 4, whats fully vaccinated even mean? How long does one shot offer you protection? At what point do you need the 3rd booster? No one can answer this, because we were told the vaccines keep you out of hospital not stop you from getting it or passing it on. However the countries that now have the highest vaccination rates also now have the highest hospitlization rates! Explain that one!?
  4. Jesus you still has no idea about how the virus and vaccines work! Come on, before posting on a subject at least do a little research before your start typing!?
  5. Its not a whole host of negativity, yes of course these actors and celebrities have to do things and say things that they are told to.....its called promotion. Just looks like a total set up to me and thats the way things are done the majority of the time. I am not expecting Crowe's twitter feed to be filled with negativity about the country he is filming in, regardless of his personal point of view. Maybe he twitter previously mentioned this Thai guy previously!? No thought not, no hes never heard of him before.....
  6. Yes mate you crack on hiring ladyboys that are on the game as nannies for your friends children!
  7. She was on the game, yes humans are on the game and also exist in all countries, however in most countries you do not tour your family through the red light district. The point being the well heeled Australian family had no idea she was on the game and where almost oblivious to what was going on on around them. As said its a very surreal experience to see and i think most people are unaware just how much prostitution goes on. To your point what wrong with a lady boy looking after your children? Its not who they are its what they do. Was the ladyboy in question on the game also? Frankly if the Australian family saw her actions after they left they would have been somewhat horrified and she would not longer be looking after their children on their next holiday.
  8. Its a very strange / surreal experience wondering through the red light districts of Thailand and seeing / passing plenty of European families with young children in tow actively looking around. You dont get this is other countries. Ive even seen a family hire a prostitute as a baby sitter, i belive the family had no idea she was on the game and even after their holiday hey brought the prossy a gift and more money. I wonder how they would have felt if they knew what she normally got up to, anyway ignorance is bliss juts find it a bit strange why you would bring family to the redlight areas.
  9. It's safe to assume Russell has no idea about this guy before he came to Thailand. The awkward level of cross promotion is actually hard to read......"yeh this will bring in the tourists, they'll all want to meet this Thai guy now that rusell crowe has said he's his hero. This type of propaganda might work on kids but to subject this as actual story is pretty laughable.
  10. What a terrible article, just shows how the media love to fiddle the numbers! Correct title for this; ''A 3 month season berry picking in Finland can earn you more than what an unskilled worker could earn in Thailand in a year.'' But i guess that sort of tile doesn't get people arguing and bickering on the Internet lol Don't be played by the media. Finland also imported 400 Thais this year with covid, so doubt those ones got anywhere near the 4,000 bucks
  11. Actually quite difficult to read a title like that. A few years ago my father had a stroke whilst in Thailand and was admitted to Bangkok hospital where he then had a further heart attack (so we believe) then then had to fit a tube in his throat (tracheotomy) in order to keep water off his lungs. Whilst in ICU he arms were tied to the the side of the bed and he had no free movement. After 3 weeks the doctor said we could organise a stretcher plane from Bankgkok to UK and get him back to a hospital there. The Thai doctors had indicated that the tracheotomy had to stay indefinitely. When he arrived in UK the UK doctors were appaled that he was allowed to travel and it would seem that he was pretty close to death upon arrival back to the UK, the doctors were also bemused about some of the things that were done to him and also questioned some of the treatment that he had had. They also informed after one week that they would take the tube out of his throat, and allow it to heal and hopefully he could then get his voice back. The one month 'care' in Thailand cost around £60 k, including the flight home and care during flight etc and as mentioned the doctors were pretty horrified at the methods of care used on my father, i was going to sue however tbh didnt want to go through all of that. Shortly after this a lawyer that i knew in Hua hin had another client end up in Intensive care and i was asked to help as the lady in hospital had no relatives or friends to contact and could i help transfer some money from her UK account. I was being asked this whilst the lady in ICU was signing document that seemed to cover her ownership of her condo, which i later presumed was being signed over!! (yes sounds dodgy bu t i was trying to help) I was asked to collect the women's bag from her condo and use the details to transfer money from her account in UK to Thailand. Upon returning with her bag to the hospital she was now gone! I was told that had to move her to Bangkok as better facilities there. This whole thing felt very weird and i wish i wasnt involved as i was now on camera going into the womens appartment and taking her bag! I asked the staff to forward her bag on, however they would have nothing to do with it and wouldnt assist at all in helping, so i was now stuck with this womens bag! I felt i couldn't really trust anyone there but also could question their methods.
  12. Can't compare the Hamptons to Hua Hin! Other than they both start with H that's where the similarities end. Beach front properties will always be in demand however there are not many available in hua hin. There's plenty of resorts out of town for sale but overpriced and pretty tacky type places which certainly won't attract Thais that have money.
  13. another with totally false information, its really sad that we are 2 years into this pandemic and still people think that unvaccinated people are going to be the cause of the virus and the fact that you have linked them to being migrants from other countries and of course they are 'unwashed' Why cant a vaccinated hi so official pass the virus on? Just get on with things and stop worrying and analyzing pop singers schedules! and also whether they would be tired to travel or not!
  14. Well done. Compelling reasons do not include a holiday. For the average aged aussie man looking for a holiday you would be unable to leave the country. Seems a bit harsh imo.
  15. Fair comments, perhaps i might look for more a rural location in years to come however at this time the government's ability to implement crazy laws at the drop of a hat would effect me greatly at this point in my life
  16. India is not even in the top 50 of deaths per capita, US is not in the top 20 either.
  17. that's never going to happen, looks like the whole world especially the 3rd world countries are being reset or something like that Get ready for even more inequality around the world, its coming. The elites already travel without any issues. They put the masks on for the photos only.
  18. What a backward country this is, those in charge have no idea what they are doing. Draconian laws, water shortages, electrical outages, total mismanagement of any scheme they attempt to introduce. Thank god or anyone that i did not move to Thailand, the place is literally a car crash (no pun intended)
  19. Hopefully you will get the recognition you deserve in the next country you decide to call home, good luck.
  20. Technically you won't be fully vaccinated until you have had 3 shots. Everyone over 50 and front line workers are first inline for the 3rd jab in the UK today. It officially started this week in the UK and no doubt every other country will follow suit in the coming months.
  21. This stuff is banned in many shops / hotels in Thailand! Perhaps that's why there looking at increasing export markets!
  22. this is the problem, peoples attitude is too far gone and are pretty much paranoid, negativity can have an effect and weaken your immune system, how long can you ignore or avoid the common cold? Apologies if your post was sarcastic however i do think many people do feel the way you wrote above, that is a problem.
  23. In the UK we opened up and withdraw restrictions on the day parliament split for their summer break. What a coincidence! It's becoming a joke just get on with it and deal with it. Driving is more of a concern for the majority of people in Thailand.
