I understand your thinking, and I believe most who did a relocation as you did, just had fun as long it lasted, and a bit shocked when they finely was there at retirment, and realized life was still good, and much better than expected. The only minus was, they did not save for their better days at the end. Im in the position of having pention as long I live, but still save and have some solids both places in case things changes rapidly and out of my control. Of course most of my solids is in my wife name here in Thailand, but still managable to not impact me to much for my happiness. In my mind, it is already written off, but have to say, so far, so good, and far better than the most pessimistic contributers here forecasted. One thing is to live while you have the chance, but also to manage to live as long life is good. At the end, it is always an exit if bull pie comes and take you.

Everything that works is not good for people or the soil, but still thats the easiest way. I have people to clean, so we do not use any agents on our land. At once the job is done, easy to maintain.

The most common one is roundup, and available all over thailand in every farmer and garden store.

You are right such emergency fix plugs is ment to be temporary until you use inside patch plug. But there is no way the tire will suck air while it is air pressure inside it, and I have ridden long distances with emergency plugs in my tires several times without any problems.

I have another problem to with street food, it is the hygenic issua, and I know what going on in the kitchens around Thailand, but I do not see it, and therefor can easier look away or not think about it. I had my share of food poisenings, but after choosing what I see as better restaurants when travelling, it have been 6 years since last time now.

Sometimes it is better to just nod and listen to what people have to say. No need to argue with people who is to sure about life or anything else, unless it helps the conversation where more people participate.

There is a gentleman rule in Thailand to never ask what someones gf or wife worked with before you met! And to be true, no one of those I frequently hang out with or meet up with, have ever asked one time what my wife did before we meet, unless I say it in a context where it is natural to add. And I have never asked anyone either

Why? I think having your own kids is different than taking care of someones elses kids. If I had kids, I would never let them grow up in Thailand, because I could not affort the necessery schooling or give them What I see as basic knownledge and experiences. Sport, choices, activities and also free quality education as it is where I come from. Even university is free.

Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
Hummin replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
Thats called propaganda, and thats how he can still for now lead Russia, because enough of his own people believe in what he says and what he do. The consequenses for thinking different, is brutal. Not so far away from any other countries who have gone to war against other countries. Well know tactics and retoric. -
