of course if you feel you need to see more of the world, then, there is a bonus, but Cruise ships useally do not hang around long enough to really see the place, just the fasade they are selling you to a high price, and all local made crap, is now made in China, because no one will actually pay the real cost for the local made stuff anymore.

You get bored of everything and anything after awhile. I know I would! I spend my 360k baht living in Isan, and spend the rest 650k on travelling where I want to go, but not on a cruise.

Detox is a good start to, meaning removing triggers such as toxic substances as well negative internet surfing that is waste of energy and time. Sleep is the major connection to everything you do, and as said before, go to bed early, force yourself to stay off the phone, internet and you will finely manage to sleep. Might take some time to establish new sleeping routines, but it is well worth it. Have a plan every day you get up, and as said stay off triggers.

It always pays off in the end no matter what you struggle with. If you have money, find someone who can mentor you, and give you necessery feedback and inspiration. Do you intend to open a bank account and deposit 800k in Thailand? If so, the easiest way, is to arrive on Tourist visa or even visa exempt and apply for Non O retirement visa. Do you have income in Switzerland? Maybe check if Swiss embassy give you income verification. The Uk embassy do not. The income affidavit/certification should be obtained at your embassy here in Bangkok

The classic advise, pull yourself together and start waking up early in the morning, and go for a walk, then hit the gym, swim, read a book, early in bed, quality sleep, and repeat the same next day! It is possible to create a good life even in Isaan as a member of a family, but as many points out, you are not only choosing a gf, you are also choosing the family, because the family comes with it. Not once have I felt my wife family wants to play me, they have been decent all the way to me, and real.
