I did not pass my test until 1991, then never bothered driving much after that, never could see the attraction and never bought a car. Certainly there is no attraction to driving here, where I certainly consider myself to old at 68, I let the Mrs do all the driving, plus I don't get called on to give family and friends lifts to the airport, school, shops etc.

We live 100 meter from the next province, nobody is going anywhere. Even people working in Korea and the well off got their 1000k baht, seems an irresponsible give away.

Who ever let the all blacks start games with that ridiculous haka nonsense? we should respond with a morris dance in black face ????

Anyone remember the good woman of Bangkok? people thought it was a real documentary but it was fake. The principal character is listed as an actress, but people still thought it was reality on IMDB

Not true I know from personal experience illegals have gotten public housing and health care. Getting free health care you are not entitled to in the UK is child's play, when was the last time you heard of any ID being asked for? When I took my NHS card into the surgery to update the address they said they had never seen one and not to bother. Not being entitled to and what really goes on are two different things, too many with 'compassion & empathy' only makes the situation worse.

0-9 still takes some doing over any premiership side have looked good against everyone so far.

In Aldi shop in Los Aljazeros they had wine for 85 cents, about 30 baht, and it was better than a lot of the 'wine' here

When my father in law upcountry (thankfully) snuffed it they reckon they spent 400k on his funeral. Ludicrous amount of face money, several years income. They were Chinese illegal immigrants, real refugees do not have to pay thousands to criminal people traffickers. Nothing to do with Thailand.

Does not matter how rich they are some still will not pay. Know a famous Grammy singer who lives in a 20+ million baht house, only about 20 on the development, he is in charge of the committee. Just one will not pay so he told security not to raise the barrier for him- he went home and got a gun!

About 40% do not pay where we are the logic seems to go why should we pay when khun Knob is not paying. Expect security will go sooner or later when enough parasites refuse to pay up, it's just 500 a month,

why should we respect the backward superstitions of people who lived in the stone age before Europeans arrived? All cultures are not equal, some are not worthy of much in the way of respect. Just because some people believe something does not mean the rest have to fall in line, we are talking about climbing a rock for goodness sake!
