  1. I did not go the second time but sent the Mrs with a print out of the law posted in a link by Donutz, clearly states they have to accept personal applications. She went in again today and it was all co co operation again with first guard there friendly this time. As there is a notice as soon as you get in posted up about vfs with contact info they clearly try to steer you away from the Embassy. Most Thai woman on their own would just do what they were told.

Poland has the choice to indulge in their self serving revisionist history, but they're not fooling people outside of Poland.

There should be no problem revising history if it based on the truth, in archives of orders, letters, memoirs and official records. But any effort to deviate from the  accepted history of the Jews before and after the war is always attacked ruthlessly, often without foundation.

  3. All countries the Nazi's invaded collaborated, the French resistance was actually very insignificant, Norway almost zero, they even handed over UK paratroopers to be shot. This Holocaust is a word only used since about 1972, before that it did not exist in connection with what the Nazi's did to the Jews. It's unfortunate that the numbers have been such a source of controversy. After the war the Poles said 300k Jews had died in Auschwitz, the Russians said it was 4 million! The truth is nobody actually knows.

Khun Prayut Chan O Cha and the Junta will be at the helm for many years to come ... imo

Rather like Stalin and Mao? the only way they can is by repressing dissent, not allowing elections and continuing to crap over the rights of citizens, it's called despotism.

  5. Chinese lady round the corner on a non immigrant B visa just discovered before going to get it extended for a year she has a problem. She has not had the 400k in the bank for the 90 days, three weeks short. She thinks she can wangle it at immigration, I doubt it and think she will have to leave when the extension runs out and start again with another visa. She has been here on this visa 5 years, where is the best place to get a new one, could she do it in Bangkok where she lives?

The people didn't vote out, a super majority was never achieved - a global standard in constitutional changes. It was a mere 32% of the electorate that voted to leave. A fact that brainwashed  Brexiteers all too readily choose to ignore!

super majority was never needed, just a majority which said OUT. Most UK goverments are never elected by a majority of the eligible voters, that is not the system in place.
