As a smoker looking to cut or stop, banning smoking in public will definately be a good step to prevention. But being in Thailand, the law will be used in a dual method as usual, with farangs being targetted for money as usual, while the others will get away. Sad.

CNN (that is a well known anti Trump media), admitted that the looters were part of an organised group useing scrambled walkie talkies and seemed well organised, a bit like the anarchists of the Black Block Movements (nothing to do with skin colour) that terrorise such gatherings in Europe. This has become a war behind the screens between various extremist groups who are either pro or Anti Trump. As usual, it is the common man on the street who pays the price one again, while some partisan medias and politicians are stettling their own scores. CNN was very disappointing as their anti Trump comments were biased and hardly hidden.

Racism of any form must be severly punished no matter who or where in the world. It has nothing to do with settling political scores as it is being done actually by some media.

Paris had some very violent police reactions during the yellow vest gatherings in 2019 with violent and brutal police response against peaceful and elderly protestors. It did not make such an uproar however.

How about extending the reduction to the entire country ?

And in the run, make sure that unscrupoulous developpers who handle the water supply to their gated housing developpments, respect the discount and do not continue to fill their own pockets. 

Since a few days, each time I connect on the forum, a highly annoying video (to say it politely)  on some Nasa Keppler Telescope keeps popping up.

Many things globally will crash..if not worse.

Currencies are part of the equation.

If one gets a pension in foreign exchange sent to Thailand, the crash may be good and yield more grub.

If one has bought property much before the crash, once it crashes, the property will highly loose value, on selling and sending back funds abroad.

Regulators could be tempted to create inflation, in order to balance and avoid foreign investments not to loose much...but the commoner will suffer....

And prices will hike for all imports due to the THB cra$h...so what one may gain in the THB cra$h, will be lost as greed will once again rule, all prices will hike...

What's the point here ? well, what one gains on one side, is unevitably lost on the other....so in this context, I may not dance and rejoice to much in global currency cra$hes....

So if he has knowingly broken the law with forged documents, he fully deserves the punishment.

How would it be if a foreigner did the same back in your country ?

If he is totally innocent and has commited no offence, he should plainly pack up and spend his money in another country.
