japanese, chinese and koreans are well known weirdo sex freaks.....but as long as they pay, does anybody really seem to care ?

The hotel having to close down, should send the bill for compensation to the Chinese and Korean governments for compensation. He should also file a demande for compensation to the Thai government for letting the Chinese and the Koreans in.

Had a similar issue during a visit to Hua Hin last year. In a hired chauffeur driven car.

After driving say 45 minutes on direction to BKK, get stopped on a long stretch road.

The cops look at me, see I am a tourist, a cop rudely asks from where I come and then stops asking questions me.

They ask my driver to step out, go behind a sort of a construction or a booth that was on the side of the road.

The poor driver came back, took a pouch from the car and went back.

Few minutes later came back in the car and drove on. When I asked him, he was a bit embarassed...and plainly said something like "well, this is Thailand and it's like that with the Police"......also remember a restaurant owner in HuaHin mentioning something like THB 5'000,- that was required to be paid to the police per week or per month.

Not to mention this guy who was drunk..I mean real dead drunk in a party in BKK. I told him to be careful and take a taxi insted...but of course he left apparently on his bike....when I saw him few days later he admitted having being stopped at a Thai Police checkpoint and made his way thru with a bribe of THB 500,-- ....

Such incidents are a disgrace to the whole country.

No more exchange booths...so where will all the poor Chinese tourists, change their renminbis ? ? ?

Thailand is paying a heavy toll for bootlicking the Chinese.

Thailand should have banned all Chinese and Koreans from entering the country in the first place, at the virus outbreak.

A fool and his valuables are soon parted.

Only a stupid individual, perhaps as stupid as his own big ego, will sport around in 3rd world countries with a watch that is worth a lifetime's earnings for many.

And even in western nations,  it's dangerous nowdays to flaunt wealth.

Sad,  but unfortunately some only learn the hard way.

All very cosmetic....some people have been diagnosed with the virus with absolutely no symptoms....and the poor chaps wearing their green paper masks are totally at risk as these masks do not prevent the wearer from catching the virus...and what about glasses if one really want's to protect their health screening staff....such a lack of basic know how is scary and disgraceful.

Before bragging for the airport, how about putting proper pedestrian crossing lights (that work) ?

Crossing the roads in HH, mainly in downtown in the Burger King, Clock Tower etc area is a deadly game and I always wondered how the elderly who cannot run for it, manage ?

And how about offering a bhat bus route that runs from downtown to the other areas westbound ?

Do they also disinfect the brown enveloppes ? ????...ok will there be a notice in every government building to use plastic bags for the "donations" ?

No more tourists left to be cheated and no more chinese to bootlick ?

It's about time to hand over 40 THB for 1 dollar to get the tourists-expats-retirees back...with or without the virus as the numbers were harshly dropping even before the outbreak...due to obvious reasons everybody is aware...

The usual face masks used by health professionals are mainly for preventing the patient from catching anything....the EU norm is the FFP2 or FFP3 masks that protect the wearer against the virus...the classical paper masks either in green or blue do not protect the wearer.

with absolutely no hint to the present issue, always try to be worth more when alive, then when dead....

Mad context....but what can one expect with on one side farangs mongering for unprotected sex with Thai prostitutes entertainers and on the other side, the ladies accepting it  for the extra buck....

At least Kuwait is smarter then Thailand who is still bootlicking the chinese and letting them in..... totally irresponsable and it will hurt harshly Thailand in no time....

But the biggest scammers are those with who one needs to enter in any business dealings.

Mainly the real estate developpers who are the biggest cheats in Hua Hin and that will be all honey and nice until they get your money.... like many other places obviously....nothing new unfortunately.

It usually either the USA, China or Russia in the dirty spy tricks, game.....in this case one cannot imagine any interest from the US or Russia and definately not MI6 !!! , so once again it could be the chinese upto their dirty tricks

Very bad news .... !....fewer tourists and foreigners to harass on arrival by immigration....how will those boys and girls in brown uniforms manage now ?!!
