Marine exhausts are not always up high especially on smaller vessels. They are called wet exhausts. Salt water is used to cool the engine through heat exchangers and then discharged overboard via the exhaust. There's many advantages like less noise/smoke/fumes/cost etc. A disadvantage is if the exhaust breaks/fails internally back flooding can happen. Wet exhausts are usually close to the waterline and yes they can stick out of the transom. I'm not saying this is what happened in this case.

I own a Forza 350. Sorry I cant compare with the other bikes but my two bobs worth about the Forza model. Pro's.... comfortable wide seat so if your a big fellang plenty of leg room. Lights are powerful for a scooter... for my own personal safety I put two extra 50watt driving lights on but standard lights are good. You can cruise all day at 20kmh or 120kmh. Reasonable storage under locked seat.. can fit a full face helmet in there + shopping. Cons... Suspension is lousy. Not enough travel in shock's. You feel every pothole. The paper engine air filter intake is located low beside back wheel so needs to be replaced each service. The wheel base is very long so tends to over-steer. All in all a nice bike. I do maybe 50km average a day with a fair amount of that on dirt back-roads. Obviously the bike is built for sealed roads. I only got 9,000km out of original tires and I don't push the bike.

OFFICIAL Dear xxxxxxx Thank you for your email, to answer your question, Yes, you can enter Australia before the 18th of February and Yes, you can remain in Australia for up to 3 months from the date of entry. Just an update. I have sent an e-mail to the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs with my query. 5 days and counting for a reply.

That's what I want to hear. Visa is going to expire but if you get into Ozz before it does you get 3 months on arrival...mmm... Easy as you say... Can you send return airfare money to my Bank account in case it's not easy.....! I'm nervous..

@Sparktrader Yeah.... To me I am reading what I want to see... not what Ozz Imm reads.. They are not clear on what happens after visa expires and you enter just before it does. Does Visa last for 3 months after??

Can my Terak enter Australia with Only 5 days remaining on Visa given VIVO is saying 3 months granted on each arrival? We wish to stay for 1 month only. Sorry if I am not clear on my question....

VEVO Visa Check.

I just started filling out online a new Australian Visitor Visa application (Subclass 600) for my Issan Luv Machine and berger me dead a pop up window came up during application saying a Visa is already valid!! I Follow the au/gov link thingy "Visa Entitlement Verification Online" (VEVO) and sure enough the entry Visa is still valid.. Problem is the Visa expires 5 days before arrival on a 1 month planned holiday.. So now to save a few $$ on a new application and filling out all the forms with half lies (sshhh) I'm thinking I am reading what I want to hear and not what the valid Visa is saying. So the current Visa from what I am reading between the lines again is saying if she arrives on the last date of Visa she can stay for 3 months extra after the actual Visa expires. The VEVO says "Period of Stay"....03 Months on each arrival...! and "Multiple entries to and from Australia during validity of your Visa"...

@nikoswe sounds like you have the same addiction as me. Every dirt road I ride past I think to myself "I wonder where that road goes to" and have to come back and find out. I had the CRF 250 Rally for about a year. Was not overly happy with the bike. My list of negatives.. Seat to high so lowered rear shocks.. Not enough power so lowered gearing.. Ran to hot so put second radiator + fans in... Decelerated heavy so put tweaked CDI unit in. Head light average so put 100w driving light on. In the end after all the mods I was just not happy with the bike still. I reckon I know the back roads up here in Burriram better than any locals

Movement at the station Maybe.....?!!! On my afternoon ride and see this!!! Not sure if it does the full meter thingy... As in reverse excess solar and PEA pays out 2.2bht... It is digital... First I have ever seen in Issan.... Photo taken of a power feed to a typical garden farm with no solar... Just power to a pump... Bazar to see in the middle of nowhere and I'm screaming for one!!!!

Wow good topic. I'm not a solicitor or lawyer. Just updated my Last Will and Testimony In Ozz 4 months ago and my assets in Ozz are assets remaining there... As is my will... From what I understand any assets in Thailand can be accessed by your spouse through the court process. A death certificate is required to gain access to whatever is remaining in the Kingdom. A Thai Will is not required but the process of getting access to your assets could be a pain in the rectum.

To install legally on your roof it is not hard as long as the Inverter is one of the approved type by PEA. There is a list of approved inverters. I don't have a link to the approved inverters at the moment which you can find online.... If nobody else supplies a link in the next few if i remember I will post. You do not have to contact anyone. You are simply covering your a@se as long as the inverter is of an approved PEA type that does not export power during a power loss so you do not fry some worker down the road trying to repair a fault. I have had no luck having a meter installed that I can legit sell back to the grid my excess solar. Have been chasing a white elephant for the last couple of years trying to get one installed. If you are remote Thailand my guess is they do not have the capability to read a meter that exports solar power. Its frustrating.

That sounds cheap for the weight. You do not say how large the parcel is in size. For that price it would be slow mail... Maybe 1 month to arrive if your lucky. I have sent a few things from the Burriram area.. Both slow and fast mail... Fast post took 5 working days to arrive in regional Australia which cost 2500bht a few weeks ago. Weight was about 300gram and size of a A4 sheet of paper. Just go to your nearest mail shop even if it a village Post Office. The price is a fixed price using Thai Postal service and if you did use a courier it would probably cost you more anyway and turn up at the same time.

I have literally given up on getting a "legit" reverse meter paid for over a year ago (2500bht) from PEA to export excess KW.... Still hounding them. Have had one guy from PEA come and check installation but nothing more. If your mate lives in the Big Smoke and from what I am guessing their meter reader can download the export meter readings he might be lucky and get one. Thailand does have them but supply and capability of reading the meter is limited especially up country. As mentioned by @Crossy if you have the old style disk meter run with that and stop the export around meter read time.

I'm still waiting for my PEA smart meter 15 months later?? to sell back excess KW. I paid 2500Bht??... and also Huawei Batteries..... 15Kwh storage... In Ozz at the moment with medical stuff happening so my feet not on the ground.. I don't think Issan PEA can handle the Smart Meter technology and buying excess KW back into the grid.
