  1. Good call @asf6 The whole album is superb.
  2. Personally, I find the Section38 android app much easier to use for a TM30 than the website. Not that I use it very much (if at all) these days. I got it from the google playstore. Answers to your questions. 1) Once you have registered, no further documents to upload. 2) There is a "submit" button in the app. 3) There is no confirmation sent. Best you can do is a screenshot of the entry once you have submitted it.
  3. I think it was around 2013 when I asked HSBC if I could move to Thailand and operate my bank account and credit/debit cards "as normal" as if I was resident in the UK and they said it was fine. I had already lived here full time since mid 2009 but still had my UK address registered with HSBC. So I changed my address via online banking to my Thai address. I still had a UK address until late 2014 but then I sold my house, leaving only my Thai address. HSBC are happy to send new credit/debit cards to my Thai address. I realise this may change at any time, which is why I try and keep up to speed regarding policy changes using forums such as this. Perhaps I should test the water with my pension providers to see what their payment policies are so I can be better prepared just in case HSBC decide to close my account.
  4. I quite like this variation: Octordle
  5. Thanks @petermik. Downloading now. Also available via 1337x, kickass & magnetdl.
  6. I would be interested to know the name of the bank involved, as I have a UK bank account but no UK address.
  7. I give my dogs Ivermectin powder mixed with a little milk. It keeps them tick-free and protects against various worms. Cost is 40 baht for 1 sachet per dog, every 2 weeks. I get it from a local pharmacy.
  8. Yes, your FiL should be able to register his property to complete TM30 reports online, either using the website you quoted or the Section38 phone app. I registered myself as the housemaster of my wife's house so I could do my own TM30 reports. The documents I uploaded were a copy of my wife's ID card, a copy of the blue house book for the house and a copy of my passport ID page. I got my userid and password the next day by email. Documentary requirements to register may vary depending on your immigration office. A lot of other people have done the same. Once registered, all subsequent TM30's can be submitted online.
  9. Yes, I watched it recently and enjoyed it.
  10. I'll be watching that soon.
  11. Thanks @Will27downloading now. Also on 1337x, kickass & magnetdl.
  12. When I did my last 1 year extension, the IO also did a 90 day report even though it wasn't really due. About 30 days later, I got an email reminder informing me that my online 90 day report was due, which was based on my previous online reporting date. I simply ignored that email and did my next online report (which was accepted and approved) to correspond with the date on the receipt that I got for the manual report done by the IO. No problems arose. It's not me that's advising you when to do the report. The rule is that you need to do a 90 day report only if you have been in the country for 90 consecutive days. Your next report should contain your latest date of entry into Thailand. Also there is no way I can predict if your IO will be confused or not.
  13. Can take 5-10 min to report on line, so why not. Seems resetting the 90 day reporting date may confuse Thai immigration in their computer system. But tell me what you think? My reply was about the top comment above and not about using the 90 online reporting facility. You were asking about ignoring your trip out of the country which would reset your reporting date. To me this seems to unnecessarily complicate the process. Why not just do an online report 90 days from the date you entered the country, with the entry date counting as day one? See the post immediately before this one as to the confusion YOU may cause by doing what you are suggesting.

  15. This could also happen if you have "avoid tolls" set in the phone app. May be worth checking.
