40 years ago I used a chemical to help tree stumps rot more rapidly but this was toxic, no longer available, maybe here? I take it the tree is no longer producing growth?

All I can suggest is boring large holes or even use a chainsaw to make holes, and pour Potassium nitrate in.

Even so, it will take some years, so you might as well stick a plant pot on it for now.,

The tree was cut down but it seems the stump is growing and pushing against the deck.

I just try some potassium nitrate.

    Thanks.

This is how i got rid of my mango tree. Dug around the stump base. Got Somchai to cut stump below soil level with chainsaw and then covered with soil. No poisons and all done in an hour.

Thanks a lot, but my decking is raised so l can't get down to the ground level.

  3. We have a tree stump in the garden and it's going to start pulling up the decking.

I was going to order potassium nitrate (KNO3) in Lazada but the seller said it won't kill the stump.

Anyone with more knowledge than me know what chemical to kill a tree stump available via Lazada or for sale in Bangkok?

    Thank you

I did mate and very happy with it. Bought it from Central online, 1 year warranty about 1500 baht I think. You might see the same model on Lazada may be cheaper? Have been using it for must be around 6 months now and going gangbusters. I uses it semi commercially too, mostly 10kg beef at a time. You need to cube the beef first about 2 x 1" pieces and feed it in. Easy to clean also. Can't complain at all. beef actually grinds up a lot better than pork although I do pork as well no problems. Pork is a lot softer and has collagen (shiny white fat).

Thanks Kenny for the full feedback, I'll look out for that.

    Thanks again,

    Much appreciated.

Edit: you got a good deal at that price, it's about 2,800 Thb now.

  5. My 18" stand fan is slowing down. If l change the capacitor does it need to be exactly the same?

The original in the fan is 1.5uF but mistakenly bought 1.8uF.

I'm not even a novice with electrical appliances so just want to make sure it doesn't cause a fire during the night

    Thank you.

  6. An honest question...does beef liver taste different?

Or is it for religious purpose?

I have always used pork liver mostly floured and fried with onions.

    Again, an honest question.

    Thanks.

    These are my favorite mushrooms.

They might be good in a supermarket but I prefer to buy them in fresh markets - fresh.

It seems their name is "straw mushroom". I know how they look like and never asked for the name. ????

May I ask how you clean them? Do you just wipe the mushrooms with kitchen roll or wash them?
