Thank you Wayned, that sounds nice and also pretty simple. Cheers.

Thank you all for replies, I will try both creams. Thanks again.

Thanks Michael, the recipes look rather advanced and for future tries. Which heavy/double cream do you use available locally?
Thanks again.

I am going to try to make pate at home, a very simple and basic type. Does anyone make their own pate (chicken liver)?.... If so, may I ask what cream you use please and where you buy it?
Many thanks

Anybody know a good, compassionate, reasonably priced breast surgeon? Thanks.
My wife also was diagnosed with breast cancer and the hospital told us to go for a mastectomy n a private hospital as their waiting list was too long.
.We went to a private hospital but were unhappy with their attitude.
We ended up going to Princess Chulabhorn hospital (l think this hospital is dedicated to cancer research and treatment) in BKK and found it excellent from staff to doctors. Everything was explained in both Thai and English and questions answered.
We needed to register with this hospital as as we live in a different area of BKK, we met other cancer patients who traveled from all parts of Thailand for treatment here.
My wife did not have a mastectomy only surgery and the required chemo etc.
I definitely think it is worth looking into.
Best of luck to you all.

Absolute rubbish, they took the jacket hoping /thinking to be forever protected by their masters up the chain..
Now people are sick to death of these riding on the footpath and in some instances injuring pedestrias on the footpath.
If 1 meter was given to them on a road or footpaths they would take 2 meters.

Don't understand you NOT wanting to add a couple of teaspoons of baking powder to your plain flour. Much easier.
A "couple of teaspoons of baking powder" to plain flour to make dumplings? I have only 1 packet as stated.
Do you NOT read requests?

I finally got some Atora suet from the UK as friends visited. However I cannot find self raising flour near me in Sai-Mai BKk.
I tried Foodland, big Tesco superstore, big C, Villa (smallish one on Ramintra) and local bakery supplier near my market...all to no avail.
Has anyone seen it downtown?
Sorry I do not want to start adding baking powder etc as l only have 1 box.
Desperate to make mince n dumplings.

Sorry to tag onto an old thread, we have 1 bedroom without light now, I tried a new circular tube and blue starter but still off so I am guessing its the ballast.
Are their better quality ballast worth driving further for or nowadays much of the same?
Many thanks.

The government could make millions of baht per year at 1 minor junction near me. The initial cost of installation would be repaid within a month and more importantly Save Lives.

Each school uses a specific system to hire cooks which is better than the bidding system because the full amount of food is provided as stipulated.

All depends on what you have to cut. I bought an electric as I only have a small hedge but it didn't last long. It was a Makita if I recall correctly.
So I bought a 2 stroke petrol one from Lazada TH and only wish I'd bought it in the first case. I highly recommend this. Kanto KT-TRIM
Thank lvor,
I found one on lazada https://www.lazada.co.th/products/hedge-trimmer-2-085-i245580560-s378113782.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.2.5718767dMv2qgC&search=1
I have about 14m of waist high hedge and 18m of 10ft hedge so not sure if its overkill.
Quick question also, I am left handed so does that make a difference with the grip do you know?

I have had both electric and petrol in the past, admittedly for a longer garden and realised that the electric cable is very prone to problems.
If you start extending it into further extension cables the resistance or current gets so low the machine stops working.
Accidentally slicing your cables can happen as can abrasion dragging the cable over a rough surface.
I had a small 1.5hp briggs and stratton for years, like a tank, used an egg cup of petrol, very convenient. If I bought a petrol today i would get a Honda no question.
Hedgetrimmer, did you check the cordless ones, even more likely to slice a cable doing a hedge.
Thanks eye catcher, I have less than 100m square, my guesstimate of 170 was way off.
Apologies.

I need to buy a lawnmower and a hedge trimmer and looking for advice please. (I have read the other threads on this topic but they are closed for further posts or for vast lawn size)
We have a small lawned area of about 170m square.
I would prefer an electric lawn mower if possible with a grass catcher.
Not a huge machine also as storage is a bit tight.
Also, are the electric hedge trimmers worth the cost?
I have seen some on home pro and lazada and wonder if anyone has bought one recently. I budgeted around 4,000 Thb.
Any recommendations greatly received.
Many thanks.

And you can wait until the next traffic accident involving tourists and poke fun at that again. Don't worry, their will be an accident again when people are injured and you will will be able to get your comments chuckled at.

If you are anywhere near Lad Prao, you might try Chai Ka Pak Kai (ชายคาพักกาย) on Lad Prao 83.
I went there with some Thai friends a few years ago and it was very similar Tawandang. If you choose it though, leave early. With the skytrain extension going on, the traffic is terrible.
Thanks for the info, looks ideal. Thanks again.

Hi,
We have a nephew and gf (both late 20's) coming from overseas for vacation staying a couple of nights here with us in Saimai. Only 1 night free and had planned to take them to Tawandang Ramintra but it closed for private party.
Anyone know a similar place up this way or at least this side of BKK?
Cheers.

I now plan to go to CW tomorrow after returning from Sawannakhet tonight. Plan to get there around 07am. I am expecting huge queues and not looking forward to it one bit.
Wife and l did the TM30 today at Chaeng Wattana.
Walked in 09:40am.
Filled in forms and made copies.
Documents checked and issued queue number 226 with time stamp 10:04am
Walked out at 11:40am.
We inquired about getting a password, the immigration lady smiled and said over 5,000 also waiting. You need to fill in the bottom portion of the form and add address and telephone number as shown below.

You would only have to have a TM30 from done if you needed to do something at a immigration office. They are the only ones that normally ask to see proof one is done.
Thank you UJoe, I'll give the TM30 a miss then.
