If you are going to do more touring than Pattaya then a Honda CT125
interesting thanks but I think the Yammy Exciter 155 looks looks like a much better bike and is cheaper too

Bike has no registration document
yeah but it's got a number plate by the looks of it.......bizarre, maybe it got 'written off' in a flood or something like that?

what do I look for when buying something like this?
I'm happy 'having a go' at general maintenance, I suppose what would worry me most is knowing if it's a good engine and if the chassis is 'straight'?
cheers

Where do you live and what do you want to use it for?
Do you need to get through bad traffic in the middle of Bangkok?
Don't buy a bike only because you like the bike. Think about if it makes sense for what you want to use it for.
i'm in Pattaya at the moment but I want to get out and tour Thailand a bit and it's proving a bit hot and sweaty on my pushbike lol
what gives with buying something with 'no book' like this thing? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2269715353212063/
looks alright that Finn thing, this geezer is doing 120kmh lol

wow you're honored!!! dunno why so many blokes put up with this 'control freakism' and total BS tbh........
oh yeah I do, it's acceptable in life now apparently, like having what, in excess of 2 different sexes.......I file it under the category 'consumerism' ????

Wave/Finn has 17" wheels.
Honda CB150 for manual clutch.
sure........any experience of stuff like Cfmoto 200, Benelli Leoncino or other 'small cc' stuff?
they look good value second hand......
wonder if I can get a 'test ride' on a Wave 125i to see how it feels?
-
is it normal to pay a deposit if you move into an unfurnished place? if it's unfurnished there's nothing to break shirley?

what's this weird 'semi-manual' gearbox these things have? It appears they have a 2-way foot shifter but no clutch
looking to buy a motorbike, was thinking moped but I think I'd rather have something with 17" wheels for better 'cruising speed'?
probably should get a proper bike with a clutch but I haven't rode a bike for donkies years and I'm worried I might have forgotten how to change gears......and yeah more tricky in heavy traffic
cheers

Looking at her cycle of triggers I wonder if she has narcisissistic personality disorders or if indeed she could be bi polar?
sounds to me like she is gaslighting you......they pick up these 'tips n tricks' from talking sh!te to each other on tinternet most of the day lol, then have the nerve to accuse us blokes of having the problems ????

i think she has my credit card wallet
hmmmm I'd be really worried about this one, do you understand the internet and stuff like 2 factor authentication?
ie I'm a Brit for my sins lol, I still have a UK bank account and I can log into it using a computer or a mobile but then I need an authentication code sent to a mobile...my point is I can still easily monitor the spending and stop the card if needed, the last thing you want on top of everything else is a massive credit card bill turning up.......good luck

You will get the visa exempt entry OK on your return from Japan. Do you plan on extending it? I do not have first hand knowledge on what "strict" means in Savannakhet. However, a reported important guideline appears to be exceeding 90 days in a 180 day period.
You would have time to apply for an apointment to get a tourist visa in Vientiane. Worth considering also.
yeah not sure what I want to do yet, in terms of staying for good, or not........my flight back to Europe is not until end of November, so I probably need at least 6 months of visa exemptions and/or tourist visa..........have been enjoying riding my bike around Pattaya to be fair
I know there are a lot of nutters out there but I'm even looking at long stay rentals and thinking of buying a motorbike too........my days may be numbered, lol

If your total stay in Thailand as a tourist over the last year is going to be 45 days on a visa exempt entry, you have nothing to worry about.
yeah but then when I come back from Japan I'll have another 30 day exemption.....well unless they refuse me, then I'm in the poopidoops ????

Have you got a spare room and if so have you thought about getting a lodger in case she comes at you with a rolling pin or even worse?
Good luck! Women over a certain age just seem to go all hormonal ????

Thus, it is no longer certain that you would receive the visa if you are a long stay tourist.
what would you class as a long stay tourist? I've just had a 45 day visa free entry, due to fly out and back in next month.....is that 'long stay'? cheers

Install qBittorrent and search sites such as
what he said
i've used tpb.party for years, reliable as the sun coming up lol
this is an easy solution IF you normally use a proper computer AND your TV has a usb port because you just copy the downloaded movie file onto your stick, plug it into the TV, no issues with buffering etc......and if you have a half decent internet connection which appears quite widespread in Thailand now it won't take much downloading........I would also recommend a hacked android TV running Kodi but that's for tech geeks lol

Lucky you but your experience is not universal. Some people get asked for onward ticket, some don't. Depends on the location and other factors.
thing is it's all electronic nowadays, just get someone to email you some flight details ????
problem nowadays is everyone runs scared of stuff they see on the teLIEvision.......and t'internet eh? and they shove the ads where the sun don't shine too ????

nobody on here is young enough to get a return on that sort of investment
the price is OIL is 'crashing', what does that tell us? a recession is coming........solar panels are dirt cheap now and they'll probably get cheaper in a recession...along with the other hardware....dunno where you get 750k from but isn't a 335w panel like less than 4k baht now.....the inverters are pretty cheap too
