  1. OP, an alternative to starting over is to use agent for your next extension and also meet the financials for the next extension year. Meaning keep the funds in the new account and then you can return to doing it yourself for the extension after the one coming up.
  2. I have used a bank book alone for each extention at CW. Most recent Nov 2022.
  3. It's even more amazing that it's in a visa forum.
  4. Here is a thread. Note first part of ubonjoe reply in his first post. You won't have any issues. https://aseannow.com/topic/1251302-couple-of-questions-about-ed-visa/
  5. There is a dedicated forum for weed folk. Best post there.
  6. You are allowed 2 visa exempt entries via land borders per calendar year. You would be best served by doing one just prior to March 31 as they provide 45 day stamp and you can also o rain 30 day extension. That buys time. Yes METV is meant to be applied for in home country. Little cloudy now since eVisa available from some countries. What is your pp country?
  7. Taking into account the details you provided thinking a good option would be a METV. You can obtain 9 months out of that and together with couple of border bounces + 30 day extensions would be bullet proof.
  8. OP, are you 50 years +. If yes obtain a non O retirement and subsequent annual extensions. Being from USA you could enter visa exempt and obtain the non O and extension using funds in the bank method. You would also require a Thai bank account in your name only to start the process. You state:... "Marriage Visa ? while I stay in Thailand and she goes back to U.S.A. Regards Kenny Dee. What you are calling a marriage visa is a Non O visa. It can be based on marriage or retirement and the basis for extension can change from one to the other at time of extensions.
  9. Listen to the daughter. Crazy to mention date you changed address. In fact if you have relatives in both houses I would do nothing.. Edit: forgot about home visits from immigration if you have them. If so change the address TM30. Note don't mention when you moved. They won't ask and if do you moved yesterday.
  10. You may have obtained extension previously without a TM30 from visa exempt entry however that is not the norm. Many immigration offices require the TM30 to provide extension. Also you don't require a lease in order to provide immigration office with TM30.
  11. No set answer to that question. Couple of days would be good. Reports of flying out and back same day. Lot of hassle with immigration. Where are you planning to fly? You will require an onward flight for airline on your return leg. As alternative you can fly to Udon Thani and do a land border exit and reenter same day. However you can only do that twice a year. You could consider Saigon as it's cheapish return flight and depending on passport country you might be eligible for visa exempt entry to Vietnam. Did that trip a week back 3500b return.
  12. Yes of course and same applies to reporting via mail option. You specifically asked about drive through CM. ie report in person.
  13. No. Not unless you filed a TM30 (change of address) which would also mean doing same when you returned to you usual place of residence. Possible: yes Clever: absolutely not.
  14. Don't think you have followed. I will repeat what I typed earlier. You can exit anytime. Reenter up till March 31 to obtain 45 day stamp. On reentry you will be given a 45 day stamp. You then apply for non O marriage. That will give you a 90 day stamp. In the last 30 days of that permit with the 400k having been in Thai Bank for 2 months you apply for 12 month extension.
  15. 100% correct in having it fixed while there. Smart that you checked and picked up io error. Folk always need to check their stamp when entering Thailand. Human errors happen. So now next step is to obtain your 12 month extension.
  16. The visa "sticker" lower part of your picture is a non O single entry. You do not have any concerns and your permission of stay date changed according.
  17. What country are you from? Reason I ask is to ensure that you can obtain visa exempt entry. Currently 45 day stamp till March 31. Note: Never confuse living in Thailand ongoing with being a "Permanent Resident" . Very different.
  18. By that do you mean that you have Permanent Resident status. That's confusing. Why would you require extensions. Permanent Resident is different species. Here is extremely extensive thread regarding that.
  19. You would exit and reenter visa exempt. You can obtain a new non O. No problem. No need to obtain tourist visa. Visa exempt entry fine. I outlined that earlier in thread
  20. You can obtain one 60 day extension for each entry into Thailand
  21. OP, you could exit Thailand and reenter visa exempt (border bounce). Obtain a non O marriage. All you need is funds in bank on day of application. With that 90 day stamp allow the 400k to season for 2 months and obtain 12 month extension. In other words start over. Not best option but nonetheless is an option.
  22. TM6 still issued at land borders. Suspended at airports. Either way not required for online 90 day reports.
