  1. Good news. Why not post exact details of all the docs that you provided. Up to date reviews of extension always welcome.
  2. A completed TM-8 form The correct fee Colored photo (4cm x 6cm) Photocopy of passport (main page and latest entry stamp) The current fees for re-entry permits are as follows: 1,000 Baht for single 3,800 Baht for multiple.
  3. He entered on visa exempt and Laski does do extensions etc for those entries. The good news is that Laksi IT Mall is quite close to CW so if sent to the other it's not huge deal.
  4. Your post in the main is correct... re two visa exempt entries via land per calendar year etc . The visa exempt is listed to return to 30 days after March 31. No one can state that it will be extended beyond that. The unlimited visa exempt entries via air is correct however in reality ongoing back to back will eventually hit a road block.
  5. The OP stated that duplicate documents were required for his extension today. Your post stated that was not required. Just to remind you....you typed. "No, I wasn't asked for duplicate docs". That's hardly being pedantic. So it appears ... extensions based on marriage require duplicate photocopies and those base on retirement do not. That's hardly being pedantic. You didn't read the thread. You just read the title.
  6. The OP thread title was vague Turns out to be extension based on marriage. So your extension based on retirement recently at CW duplicate not required. Pretty much what I suggested throughout the thread.
  7. Pass immigration and from airside walk back to reentry permit office. Many have in the past having used fast track lane.
  8. That is correct. My last extension retirement was Nov 2022 and first time ever the doc check chicks wanted my 90 day report TM47 receipt. Just making up more rubbish. The OP is reporting about 2 copies for documents. Was that a requirement for your extension based on retirement. Guessing answer : NO
  9. Your daughter is Thai. She does not need to attend school for you to obtain extension based on support of your Thai daughter at soon to be 17.
  10. Slightly off topic , but my last extension retirement at CW , Nov last year I was hassled regarding only providing bank book pages photocopies. I use dedicated bank account and there were some months with zero activity. Almost was refused despite that being ok for 10 years. They are bunch of A.H. This year I will bring along bank statements.
  11. I would wait for a post regarding extension based on retirement at CW. The OP post was regarding extension based on marriage however that was not made clear.
  12. Which immigration office requires photocopies of ALL pages of pp along with medical certificate?
  13. You can apply for extension with any amount of months remaining on pp. However the extension will only be granted till expiry date of pp. The extension starts from expiry of current permission of stay. Pretty crazy (imo) to have pp expiring in much less than 12 months time.
  14. You know your stuff. Isn't there also some sort 'order by government ' that deposits in Thai banks up to 1 million baht are backed by government. Maybe a dream I had.
  15. No. Proof funds from abroad is only for non O retirement obtained in Thailand. Not required for extensions
  16. The OP is asking about Non O obtained at nearby consulate. Meaning outside of Thailand. Some have pointed out obtaining the non O retirement at immigration office in Thailand also an option. Non O-A doesn't come into it.

  18. Yes it does. Only variation is to return visa exempt and obtain your non O marriage here in Thailand at immigration and subsequent extension. Edit: You can obtain a 60 day extension to visit Thai husband. The 60 day extension would start from April 14. So that would work. You would need to buy reentry permit.
  19. Yes it does. Your example is clear. You exit and reenter just prior to expiry of the visa and you will be stamped in for 60 days. That permission of stay can also be extended by 30 days.
