  1. The person you quoted was typing about obtaining a Non O retirement inside Thailand. The funds must be shown to have come from abroad so it is a requirement.
  2. You stated SEVERAL bank accounts. Find this quoted post from you very naive. I'm outta this thread from your post. IMO silly.
  3. Yes wait for ubonjoe. He can give definitive advice. Just my opinion.... This is a simple stamp mistake. Thinking CW will correct this quickly.
  4. I misread start of your OP. Didn't realize the he is Laotian. He should go to immigration and have stamp fixed.
  5. Not required. Maintain ONE place as your address on file for 90 day reports etc. Best option is existing residence (old residence) not the one you stay for work.
  6. Do you mean a new extension? Stamp shows very little. Two dates can just be error made on first stamp. . New pp has nothing to do with it. Were you stamps from old pp transferred into new pp?
  7. He should have the date corrected at immigration. Should not go back to Border to have it corrected by office where it was issued. In reality he could most likely just exit Thailand by air prior to April 6 without obtaining reentry permit
  8. You stated "several Thai banks" Good luck with that when dealing with immigration. I actually use 2 accounts. An FD account and savings a/c. Both with the same bank. How many accounts are you asking about? Also can't think of a valid reason for doing that. Makes job of checking against the financial requirements difficult.
  9. There are many threads on this and you seem to ask very similar questions. No such thing as retirement visa marriage visa etc. You would be obtaining a non O based on marriage OR retirement. You can apply for either in home country or nearby places such as Laos, Vietnam etc . You can even obtain either in Thailand from a visa exempt or tourist visa entry. Being able to obtain a non O without funds in Thai bank account outside of Thailand is no problem however the extension couple of months later requires funds in Thai bank account in your name only.
  10. TM28 is basically obsolete form. As stated you could have ignored anything to do with HH immigration.
  11. You should not have made a TM30 to HH immigration. You cannot have two addresses as your registered address for extensions and such. If Phuket immigration is crazy enough to want you to make a TM30 there when you return then so be it, however it's not required by the rules since June 2020.
  12. That's exactly what you would do. When away from CR address just do 90 day reports online or via mail.
  13. Why would they need to. Historically announcements such as continuing Covid extensions was left till last minute. Apart from TAT there has been very little noise re 45 day exempt entries being continued. Doubt if they will.
  14. Next time you quote include the entire text if it's part of the context. Not your edit. In any event for extension based on marriage the child is NOT required to attend.
  15. He stated nothing regarding extension based on marriage. The OP asked about extension based on support of Thai child! Then you post about extension based on marriage.
  16. Well you have already been here for 2 months. You can obtain 30 day extension to that stamp. Next you could fly to Saigon for another tourist visa. Be aware that Saigon Thai consulate requires appointment and booked out weeks in advance. Also being from USA you require 30 day eVisa for Vietnam. Simple process. $25 usd. Vientiane is another good place for tourist visa however also requires appointment. You are permitted 2 border bounce visa exempt entries per calendar year. Every entry can be extended by 30 days.
  17. You should obtain a METV while in USA. That gives 9 months and you can add border bounce after that with 30 day extension.
