Docs needed for retirement renewal?

Believe it when it happens. Enough Sherlock Holmes threads running debates on the "new tax rule" -
Docs needed for retirement renewal?
DrJack54 replied to Huayrat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You will need to show 12 month of transfers PRIOR to applying for extension using income method. Currently now I am making monthly transfers of 65k+ along with maintaining the funds in bank method. 12 month overlap -
Docs needed for retirement renewal?
DrJack54 replied to Huayrat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That does not always work. For 10 years at CW I never was required to show TM47. My most recent it was required. The OP in this attached thread had same experience. https://aseannow.com/topic/1309772-report-cw-bangkok-non-immigrant-o-extension-retirement/ -
Docs needed for retirement renewal?
DrJack54 replied to Huayrat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That is exactly what I'm currently doing. I obtained my most recent extension (Oct 2023) and will follow "money in bank" rules till my next extension (Oct 2024). At the same time have started monthly transfers (65k+) For next extension will show 12 months of transfers. Being Oz, no income letter available. Back to the OP, don't think he understands the income method requirements also not clear what the agent actually did on his behalf. Was it just hand holding or did agent cover the financial requirements. -
Docs needed for retirement renewal?

No. As @norbra pointed out you would need to show 12 months of transfers unless your embassy provides income letter.. Currently I'm maintaining 800k in bank and for next 12 months transfers. Being Oz, my embassy does not provide income letter. -
Death of spouse effect on my marriage visa?
DrJack54 replied to trubrit's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Would need to be fire sale price. OP stated lives in some random village. Very difficult to sell. The OP is in 90,s Poor planning. Also is broke. Thinking best option is to draw up agreement where he can live ongoing in house until curtain day. Then home go to wife family. Not uncommon. -
Exactly "who cares" . So cut to the chase you are saying a Turkish guy cannot obtain ongoing extensions based on marriage to a Thai national. As I mentioned earlier an agent can assist with bank account especially if you have a non O . Stick with your plan others above have pointed out it's a valid pathway. On an aside...why did the uncle need to come up with 400k. Couldn't you have transferred funds to wife account.
-
You can obtain a non O based on marriage and subsequently obtain a 60 day extension to visit wife. Don't understand why you could not open a bank account with a non O. Did you apply in Bangkok? If you stay 8 months imo your plan is not best option. Enter Thailand with a non O and obtain ongoing 12 month extensions based on marriage. The financials is a very low hurdle given funds do not need to remain in bank. Think you are making easy difficult.

Siam Legal previously provided this service. Thinking they stopped. You could check with @ThaiVisaCentre . You won't be able to do it by yourself in Bangkok due to not being able to obtain certificate of residence on tourist visa. In Bangkok it requires you to have made a TM47 report. Suggest Pattaya a better option with agent such as Maneerat Soi 13/2

90 days online report - invalid address

You are ignorant of TM30 requirements. Can't fix that. Search "new TM30 requirements" on AseanNow. The requirements were changed June 2020. Ignorance is bliss -
Docs needed for retirement renewal?

OP, as others have pointed out... You need to clarify what the agent did for you regarding financial requirements. Frankly seems that you have zero idea of the requirements. Income method requires min 65k transfers from o/s every month. Update your past extension process for accurate advice. -

Why did you submit new TM30. Not required. Hotel stays irrelevant -
Death of spouse effect on my marriage visa?
DrJack54 replied to trubrit's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Agree 100% .. So many folk start a thread. Well meaning folk (including myself) reply and ask for clarification for very vague OP.. Then find out OP started thread and never posted back. They kankers -
Death of spouse effect on my marriage visa?
DrJack54 replied to trubrit's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Surely a joke. The OP is in 90,s. Cannot afford financials for extension based on retirement. Cannot afford home care Is in wheelchair for going outside. Provide sensible alternatives for OP or post nothing -

Why did you write anything? Autofill is the best option. If you reentered Sept 5 you would need scroll down to "most recent entry" and change that date. User error. Embarrassing -

Apparently OP has different terminology to autofill from magnifying glass. Enjoying the pain -

FFS. I outlined my personal experience of autofill and rejected due to wrong address. First hand report from myself. Mark you as a guy not to provide advice in the future. Good you made an appointment for in person report as you will need it. They will want printout of your last 90 report. Good luck. Not
