  1. You will obtain the standard 30 day extension before being able to obtain covid extension. Covid extension now available till July 25..
  2. Very simple option for you given that your Thai bank account and funds already in place. Just return visa exempt and obtain non O Easy Peasy..
  3. Make sure you have a crack at the new online system. Assume you have registered. The window opens 15 day prior to due date and up to due date. Worst case scenario is cop a fine.
  4. Personally I would obtain a tourist visa. You won't have an issue entering. imo
  5. Go to immigration Monday. No worries. Edit: posted as Caldera posted. His advice is correct. Note you will be attending it mall Laski for extension.. OP just checked online appointment for Laski. Appears you might be able to book an appointment for Monday.
  6. You won't obtain a covid extension. You will be made to obtain the standard 30 day extension first. You can obtain a covid extension after that as they are now available till July 25. You entered visa exempt and will apply for extension at IT mall Laski.
  7. He would be applying for a non O retirement and the money only needs to be in the bank on the day you apply. That visa gives you a 90 day stay and with the 800k having been in the bank for 2 months he can apply for 12 month extension.
  8. If people are moving about and the under consideration period is inconvenient, you can use an agent and avoid the return to imm for final stamp. There are offices that don't do the under consideration period. I haven't taken lot of notice so can't advise on that. Think Krabi was one.
  9. That's not best plan in my thinking. The 800k only needs to be in bank on day of application for the non O retirement. Would be better imo to arrive visa exempt. (30 day stamp). Straight away open the account with Bangkok Bank in hua Hin. While it would be possible to use your account opened in Pattaya, you would need to make sure the bank code is FFT as the funds need to be shown to come from abroad. Transfer the funds using WISE. Then obtain the Non O. Be aware you require 15+ days remaining on your permit to apply for non O. Some offices more. That gives you a 90 day permission of stay. In the last 30 days of the POS apply for your 12 month extension based on retirement.
  10. How are you planning to enter Thailand? Obtain non O retirement in UK or in Thailand.
  11. I assume that you have previously done a TM30 for change of address to Phuket. If mail not possible there is always option to cop 2k fine when eventually back in home province and do report in person..
  12. What's the issue with doing it online. Yes the old system was a beast however new online system seems to work a treat. Via post is also a simple way to report. You can prepare everything prior to travel.
  13. No embassy letter. Which immigration office. Affidavit https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=727659
  14. If the funds have been in Thai bank for "some period" the funds do not need to be shown to originate from abroad. Added note the OP heading is changing from non O-A..... Presumably funds have been in bank already for extensions from non O-A
  15. They are available. Why even ask. BTW just posted now by ubonjoe in another thread. Covid extensions extended by another TWO months.
  16. You don't need to say more.. You are dealing with one of the most weirdo immigration offices in Thailand. By contrast there is report in other thread of zero issue at CW. Granted was given under consideration. If I had to deal with that imm office it's agent time.
  17. I believe it's 21 at CM. You just need to be aware of what your office requires.
  18. Reentry to Thailand no is piece of cake if fully vaccinated. You require 30 day cover of 10kusd. You can get a policy for 650baht. Not covid test before flight or on arrival. You need a TP which is done online and very quick now. No quarantine etc. How would you plan to return visa wise?
  19. Yes your extension (without reentry permit) is dead when you exit Thailand. The single non O is very different animal to ME Non O. The non O gives you a 90 day stamp on entry and in last 30 days of that stamp you apply for 12 month extension. Financials required. The ME Non O marriage is a visa valid for a year. You are stamped in for 90 days and then must exit. When reenter (can be straight away) you are stamped in for another 90 days. Buy doing an exit/reenter just prior to expiry of the visa you would be stamped in for 90 days. Hence you effectively get a 15 month (almost) out of an ME Non O. Be aware that each entry with 90 day stamp you can apply for 60 day extension to visit wife. Many choose this option due to the financial requirements of the non O extension option. Which one is best depends on person's situation.
  20. That's all very nice for folk from countries that have their embassies provide income letter. The OP is from UK. Three countries that do not have the option of income letter are UK, USA, AU.
