ONEWAYFLY
OP, your post is almost incomprehensible. Guessing you plan to enter Thailand visa exempt. That would require onward flight for airline at departure. Companies such as "onwardticket.com" can provide that. Accepted by airlines. Not requested by immigration on arrival.

Address Reporting Surprise!
Immigration will not refuse 30 day extension when apply at immigration office in Thailand. Your previous two post are nonsense. Stop asking for a "friend" Previously you posted... "Just wondering, Do immis know if farang's been outside of Thailand?" Of course they do.

Question about 60-day extension of stay based on marriage
Yes. You can It's actually 60 day extension to visit wife.

Address Reporting Surprise!
There are approx 75 immigration offices in Thailand. I suggest that for example in this topic there are very few offices playing games. Perhaps to screw folk or just greed. I would suggest Cw as they are the gold standard of the actual correct requirements. Even they randomly can change requirements. My last 2 annual extensions at CW required TM47 and 8 prior to that did not. Rubbish

Address Reporting Surprise!
No it does not. It's all about continuity of permission of stay. Traveling throughout Thailand and even international travel with a reentry permit does NOT require a TM30 upon return to your home address. That TM30 is required if you do change of address. Different from just random changes. The TM30 laws were changed June 2020. Sadly CM decided to ignore that. Stupid office

30 Day Extensions can only be done one (1) business day prior expiry!!!
You are overlooking one word ..AGENT. May as well post in a thread commenting on crowded immigration on arrival and someone chips in with... "I have agent meet me at airport and provide express lane" The OP was not using an agent and his run around from immigration was very clear. So how much was this hand holding service.

Is it still 7 days visa extension if I currently have a 30 day waiver? (UK Passport).
Up to recent times 30 day extension to tourist visa is done at CW. Extension to visa exempt done at LakSi. Google IT mall LakSi. It's on the new Red line.

30 Day Extensions can only be done one (1) business day prior expiry!!!
In other words your post is irrelevant as you used an agent. Read post above yours referring to agent. Out of interest cost of agent and name would assist others thinking of agent

No problem. BTW: If I had to deal with that rubbish immigration office, I would do everything using an agent. Have my agent pick up pp and drop it back to Soi 8 Beach Rd.

Address Reporting Surprise!
First up CM is the most ROGUE office regarding TM30. You could consider an agent given long drive. There are threads for online TM30. Hopefully someone using that option will be along to advise. Think @Red Phoenix has some advice regarding this.

Is it still 7 days visa extension if I currently have a 30 day waiver? (UK Passport).
You state "extra week or two" .. You need a 30 day extension. You will require a TM30 and basic copies from pp. You did not give your hotel your pp so they did not make a TM30. The 7 days you ask about is irrelevant. You stated needed week or 2. It's not an extension. Sort out the TM30 and obtain 30 day extension. You left it very late. Being UK and visa exempt to Vietnam you could have considered mini holiday there. The easiest solution is LakSi for 30 day extension.

Does renewing an extension to Non-O count as 90 day report?
No. Some immigration offices do a TM47 as a "favour" TM47 has nothing to do with annual extensions.

If you entered visa exempt you will attend LakSi immigration office not CW. You require TM30 Your application will not be rejected due to overstay. Overstay should be avoided..

Passport not stamped with 60 day visa
So any update? I would suggest not going to immigration. You made the error and immigration were correct to give you 30 day stamp. Exit prior to expiry of your permission of stay and return using your eVisa You could consider mini holiday eg Saigon.

TM 30 How long to file ?
Do you have any need to deal with immigration office eg an extension etc
-
3rd visa exempt entry
No problem
-
Passport not stamped with 60 day visa
Your local immigration office or some international airport eg DMK, BKK, Phuket etc
-
TM30 required
Immigration offices vary. Most likely a TM30 would be required. Ask your landlord to give you evidence of filing a TM30.
-
Passport not stamped with 60 day visa
The io checks the eVisa VERY carefully against the photo page of your passport. I have done this twice recently. So it must be presented with pp.

Are there any opportunities nowadays for legit volunteering as a foreigner, preferably in northern Thailand?
Does the "couple of hours" include lunch break. Get a visa better option
-
Cash equivalent requirement for visa exempt entry
Think you mean visa exempt entry. It would be rare to be required to show funds. The io may do that if you have extensive ongoing stay in Thailand with short periods outside of Thailand..

Extending a Tourist Visa
Not in order. You can only obtain one 30 day extension to SETV. The 7 days in not an extension. It's more granted for rejection of extension application. The idea of trip to Saigon is same as any border run and would would provide another 30 day stamp. Very good reason for mini holiday in Vietnam and as you are UK you receive visa exempt entry. You do not apply online for 30 day extension. Simple process to obtain at immigration. Or use an agent if that's an issue

WISE vs Australian banks
Very few folk living here in Thailand would be unaware of WISE. WISE is even better than being cash into Thailand and then exchange at SuperRich green. Recently due to changes in Thai banking rules there are only 3 banks that WISE can do transfers of up to 2 million baht. Other banks 50k baht. Best bank with Bangkok Bank or Kasikorn SCB also can accept 2 mil transfer, however seem to be closing branches and do not have branch at CW..

How to lifve in Thailand, retired, for a year, and best beach place. Finance is a bit short.
They will have a LOT more help it the OP contributed. Here is a random response from @brianthainess "So OP can you be bothered to answer our questions? What is your monthly budget? do you have funds of 800,000baht? do you get the full OZ pension? will you have say 2millon+ baht to cover hospital bills? Your first obstacle will be to open a Thai bank account" If the OP answered some of those questions rather than start a thread and contribute nothing, that would be a good start..
