  1. Yes. In any event the threads are not about the legality of agents. Sadly some folk get into this boring topic. The thread is actually about CW requirement to view bank book when transferring stamps.. Stick to the OP
  2. All of them . ThaiVisaCentre in Bangkok and Maneerat in Pattaya and the many others.
  3. Yes. They also do the form etc for you for 200b . Personally refer to have it with me all filled in.
  4. Surely 2000 is a typo.
  5. That's the one. It's very close to Laksi station red line. There is a photocopy joint next door entry to immigration.
  6. Yes. Don't forget the photo. If you download form print on one page back to back.
  7. That's certainly possible. Guess need to keep eye on future reports at CW. Maybe just one chap/woman io on a power trip. Being a stamp clerk can't be too much fun.
  8. Yes I know what is required .... I was replying to the guy that stated this ...... "I recently had stamps transferred to a new UK passport at CW, supported by an embassy letter supplied by VFS. Nothing else required" First up there are other things required as you pointed out. Also there is now more than one post apart from the OP , stating that for using money in bank method that now CW are requiring bank account details for stamp transfer. If this is across the board at CW then that's a new requirement. Something that I certainly did not provide some time ago.
  9. Forgot to mention. Are you Bangkok. Extension to a visa exempt entry is done at IT Mall Laksi and not CW. If they have changed it to CW someone will correct my advice.
  10. 30 day extension for visa exempt very simple process and paperwork basic. Provided you have a TM30, I would stick with the appointment. BTW be 15-20 minutes early as they run on time. Make sure you print out your online booking confirmation hard copy.
  11. When. "Nothing else required"? At the very least normally some pages of old pp required.
  12. If you print it out from net must be printed on one page double sided.
  13. It only requires 400k on day of application. As pointed out earlier the OP has not contributed or stated that he has Thai child. In addition very unlikely that immigration office would permit change from extension based on marriage to based on support Thai child while still married.
  14. No problem. Stamp for visa exempt entry will be 45 days up till March 31.
  15. It's a small form just fill it in by hand!
  16. Most folk apply couple of weeks early. Nothing to stop you trying for earlier. As usual up to the immigration officer. Thinking if you explained desire to travel etc the io might accommodate you.
  17. Assume that you are using this new...ish online reporting. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add
  18. Advice needs to apply to various offices. Here is thread (one of many) where the consensus is to maintain funds during under consideration period. Having said that I have never read a report of anyone rejected issue of final stamp for that reason. Plenty are reprimanded.
  19. Read my post again. This sentence just prior to the paragraph you post above.... "This is what I replied to..." the paragraph you took from my post is from someone else. Read posts prior to mine. BTW you state only two months then you can withdraw the lot. Highly recommended to maintain the funds during the under consideration period so closer to 3 months.
  20. It's not just Thai consulate/embassies. For example my joint Melbourne does not do eg non O-A and non O retirement etc yet Canberra and Sydney do.
  21. Extension based on parent only requires the 400k on day you apply for extension. This is what I replied to... "I am not saying that he if doesn't have to the 400K BUT the IO has not need for him to have it rotting away in an account for months at a time. As long as he can show proof of the money on-hand for a very brief period of time (week or less)" Notice : "in an account for months at a time"...... "money on-hand for a very brief period of time (week or less)" This will NOT fly. In addition I doubt immigration would allow him to switch to "support Thai child" from "based on marriage " while he is married..
