  1. No problem. Do you have onward/return flight ticket? Do a printout. In any event you will need outbound flight within 30 days to obtain boarding pass from airline at departure to Thailand.
  2. It's not required as has been pointed out. As per change in rules June 2020. Required at couple of rogue offices i.e CM. The OP needs to do nothing
  3. You can apply for covid extension now. That would be only 6 days prior to expiry. Note immigration closed May 16. I would go next Wednesday.
  4. You can exit Thailand and reenter with visa exempt or tourist visa. Each time you reenter you can extend the visa exempt or TV by 30 days. You are allowed 2 visa exempt entries by land every calendar year.
  5. You can obtain covid extension 60 day permit prior to May 25 When does your current permit expires?
  6. Tourist Visa ? https://canberra.thaiembassy.org/
  7. Don't understand that. 90 days would be for a non O marriage visa. You mention "I live with a Thai.." So do I, however you need to be married to a Thai to obtain non O marriage.
  8. If you have permit till July 10 you can buy reentry permit. The reentry permit will also expire July 10. You can obtain reentry permit at immigration or airport prior to departure
  9. So you currently have extension from a non O-A along with reentry permit? Can you wait until your current permit expires. If you can put off return for couple of months then return visa exempt and obtain new non O retirement visa in Thailand. Or you can return now and when permit is due to expire do border run (possible by then) and kill off your non O-A that way.
  10. Since you entered visa exempt you can obtain another covid extension. Which immigration office? Pretty strange that during a 2 year stay that you didn't check out the process for obtaining the non O marriage and be aware of time required on permit to be able to obtain the non O
  11. If you entered May 4 you would have received 30 day stamp. Prior to any covid extension you would need to obtain standard 30 day extension. That will take you well past May 25. Unless covid extensions continue beyond May 25 you will not be able to obtain one.
  12. @Jen65 don't understand the sad emoji. Here is my first post...... "No. You don't need to do anything" As pointed out in thread there are couple of immigration offices that have not abided by change in laws. Your office has. So forget about the TM30 for situation you outline in OP.
  13. There is ONE school of thought. The rules were changed (think June 2020?) so that a TM30 is not required for inter province travel and also international travel return to same address without new visa. As always (unfortunately) there will always be the odd office that does not acknowledge new rules.. CM being one example
  14. Good pickup. The bad news (if Jomtien) then after annual extension need to return to immigration to show bank book for money in bank method. Another Rogue office.
  15. Which immigration office? As you can see in your thread, as per the norm in Thailand some offices do weird things. CM requiring a TM30.
  16. It's not required and just Chiang Mai wishing to be different. Better know as Rogue office.
  17. If you are married and have children there is no reason for you to require covid extension. Recent reports of folk obtaining covid extensions with zero fuss. How did you enter Thailand?
  18. Think this is misunderstanding. You can obtain a non O marriage that gives you a 90 day permission of stay and in the last 30 days you can apply for 12 month extension. Your extension will have an under consideration period.
  19. In that case just exit. Immigration at departure are not interested in your 90 report status.
  20. What do you mean by visa expiration. Are you planning to exit Thailand?
  21. Some folk live a LONG way from immigration. 90 report in person for some can basically take up most of the day.
  22. Aside: so I did the report online and had not received a "successful" 24 hours later still pending. I panicked and submitted via mail. I had it already prepared as had zero faith in online reporting. I received the approval eventually from online report and was concerned that perhaps I may have caused an issue by using 2 methods to report. Weeks later I received my mail back with my filled in application etc. They included a receipt and written in Thai on bottom of receipt are words to the effect that report was done online. So story about nothing really except that doing 2 did not cause any issue.
  23. Indeed. Here is mine as example. The attachment in email is the tm47 receipt. I just take screenshot. Impressed with new online system.
