  1. It's (void stamp) normally issued for repeated applications at same consulate.
  2. The receipt won't have your address on it but it will be in the system. As you are aware Bangkok immigration is bit strange when it comes to issuing of residence certificate. You need to have previously have made a 90 day report with CW to apply for residence certificate. I'm thinking you are best to attend CW for residence certificate with your new TM30. Your current tm47 receipt shows that you report to CW. Having your address updated (change of address) and then apply for residence certificate. 200baht and mailed to your new address within 2 weeks.
  3. I know Phnom Penh can be so so. Sometimes on a second time tourist visa application pp being returned with visa sticker attached and a red Void stamp on it as a gift. Can't recall first time application for tourist visa being rejected at Saigon consulate. Can occur if it's a second one in shortish time frame. Saigon is a small helpful office. By the book but certainly not a place that folk suggest an agent. Application is made am and picked up next day pm. It's very handy to Bui Vien street (tourist walking st) It now requires appointment so forward planning a must. I'm actually going in couple of weeks. Being Oz I needed an eVisa. That was a 3 working day turn around $25usd. The yellow bus #109 is a 20k dong trip (1usd) .
  4. Joining some of the dots I think that your abroad trip end march could be to a place such as Saigon. There you could obtain a tourist visa for reentry to Thailand after March 31. Giving 60+30 day in Thailand with still one land border bounce up your sleeve which would give you 30+30. If you have not been to Vietnam be aware that it's a ripper. Easily spend couple weeks plus there. Saigon in particular easy quick access from airport to district 1 which is also very easy access to Thai consulate for a tourist visa.
  5. Non O based on retirement or marriage
  6. Possibly not the right thing to do but if urgent I would use my old residence address as you state "just moved" Bangkok immigration requires 90 day report for a residence certificate. Thinking best to use previous address and matching report receipt. BTW check where residence certificate is currently issued. Think it's back to CW. Edit: just noticed TM30. Have you filed change of address. Might be worth chat with immigration. The desk where you apply for residence certificate might be fine with accepting your current 90 report as evidence that you deal with Bangkok immigration and the TM30 as update of your address. That would be best option as the residence certificate would be mailed out to your new address.
  7. For a visa exempt entry the requirement for onward flight from nearby countries will be required by airline at departure. The term "throw away ticket" actually means a real ticket that you don't intend to use. Eg cheapest flight out of Thailand. A "rent a ticket" is a real ticket and can be checked by airline. No problem. It self destructs in short time frame eg 48hours. Cost much less ~15usd. A real throw away ticket is `~1500baht. Both work. Proof of accommodation not required.
  8. TM30 should be fine in most immigration offices.
  9. Fantastic report. Appreciate the detail. Ta
  10. Best to do google search. "Thaivisa centre". The reason being is that search result list LINE APP link. Hit that (if you have LINE) it's the preferred communication for @ThaiVisaCentre
  11. Not required. Backflip yesterday think about 2.30pm
  12. Just put the address of the accommodation that you plan to use in Thailand. The owner should file a TM30 when you arrive and you can use that for any dealings with immigration. Do you plan to obtain a 12 month extension? Is the non O based on retirement or marriage?
  13. OP, at least you did your homework. You mention PE elite visa. At 40 that could have been an option. You state that you can't afford that. You could obtain ED visa but thats a pinch hit for a year or so. There is no visa that meets your needs.
  14. You stayed a week. That's very different to staying the 45/30 days obtaining a 30 day extension the flying out of Thailand and returning a day or two later.
  15. The enter and cross bridge and reenter Thailand is not a long process. You don't need a border run company. There are recent reports will post tomorrow. For return to Bangkok same day it's the flights that are more important. By way of interest how long do you anticipate your total stay in Thailand?
  16. Yes. For an overnight stay in Udon Thani they have an ok bar area block from central plaza. Google Top Mansion or "Day Night bars" to give yourself idea of location. Otherwise book return flight with ample time for same day flight back to Bangkok By way of interest how long do you anticipate your total stay in Thailand?
  17. Located in Bangkok it's an attractive option to fly to Saigon however being Oz you need an eVisa $25usd You could fly to Udon Thani return. Nong Khai border is easy 1 hr run from airport or central plaza minivan. . That option is for border bounce. Visa exempt 45 days till March 31
  18. OP, seems you have already done 2 visa exempt entry via air. Suggest you do a border bounce for visa exempt entry. That can be extended by 30 days. You could do another if required. Where are you located in Thailand? Alternatively you could fly out and obtain tourist visa and return no issue. My favourite joint is Saigon. Be aware that consulate requires appointment so forward planning required.. Vientiane also requires appointment.
  19. Airport visa exempt entries have no limit (in theory) Visa exempt via land entry is two per calendar year.
  20. What he is holidaying in Vietnam and obtaining eVisa to enter Thailand from there. What if he is currently in Thailand and wanting to have an eVisa for entry into Thailand and is planning a exit flight and return to thailand using his emailed eVisa. All good? BTW wouldn't work with land border exit and reentry.
  21. And thats just one example of many ways to remain in Thailand 6 months +.. "Immigration practice" ? These 6 month + stays are recent and also pre covid. BTW do you even know when land borders opened Thailand let alone airport entry. Hint it's over 6 months ago.
  22. For heaven's sake 6+ months per year spent in Thailand on various visa exempt and tourist visas has been possible years prior to covid and subsequently after the borders and airports were opened. So to demonstrate how ridiculous.. Someone enters Thailand tomorrow visa exempt via air plus extension 75 days. Takes a trip to nearby consulate for tourist visa + extension. Then still has 2 visa exempt entries per calendar year each with extension. ZERO issues. Do the sums.
  23. I have no idea what you are saying. Many folk spend 6 + months in Thailand year after year. Even an METV gives 9 month stay. Again all off topic. The thread is about Poipet and issues there have nothing to do with time spent in Thailand. Another ignore.
  24. There are plenty that have entered visa exempt and along with other extensions etc been in Thailand well over last 6 months plus. Time for ignore.
