  1. Constitutional Rights.
  2. How much did 12 months of insurance cost?
  3. CM allows for extensions up to 45 days early. For most immigration offices it's up to 30 days early.
  4. It's important for readers to be aware that the reentry permit needs to be purchased AFTER the extension. If one was to buy the reentry permit just after obtaining the non O retirement that permit would only be valid till the end of the validity of the stamp from the non O .
  5. Never read one report of que. Personally done approx 10 at airports and most I have ever seen is one or 2 max in front of me. Most often no one. The process takes few minutes. Good idea to have the TM8 all filled in and ready to go.
  6. As you are aware. At BKK the reentry permit desk is just after security Zone 2 and prior to immigration. At DMK the office is just the other side of immigration. You can see the office from where you are stamped out.
  7. Folk report of it still being required at CW. personally I have for last few years just provided a printed map of flyer from my condo complex photocopied and thats accepted. The map only needs to include dwelling to closest main intersection.
  8. That's your issue. Overlook my post. Read the other post after mine. Obtaining reentry permit at immigration is convenient for those within a stone's throw and did not bother to obtain reentry when they obtained their extension. To post airport is risky is wrong. It's a quick process and that has been posted over and over. What do you even mean by .... "versus waiting until you are at the airport within hours/minutes of your flight's departure". How often do you fly internationally. "Minutes of your flights departure" Please!!
  9. Please point me to ONE report where reentry permit was not possible at international airport. If the office is unattended you would just draw that to someone's attention. It just doesn't happen that reentry permit not available at eg BKK, DMK etc
  10. Please post pic of any of your residence certificates that has an expiry date printed on it. I can post my most recent one however it's waste of time. There is no expiry date printed on it. In Bangkok my understanding and reinforced by agents is 30 days. This is not a new topic. There will be posts of "my immigration office accepts residence certificate up to 90 days" BTW the op is about license renewal. For anyone that has not obtained a residence certificate this is what one looks like.
  11. Wrong. The validity has nothing to do with current permission of stay. Read my post earlier with statement from agent. An agent that would be assisting folk with TDL on a daily basis. Please post fact over what you imagine.
  12. Please show where this advice comes from. So your stating that if I just obtained my 12 month extension and then applied for a residence certificate it would be valid for 12 months? Rubbish.
  13. Appointment not required. Good report here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1281678-multiple-non-o-marriage-visa-in-savannakhet-december-2022-report/
  14. Wouldn't call it a multi entry stamp. It's a reentry permit. Will be single or multiple written on it 1000 and 3800 respectively. Half page stamp.
  15. Assume you mean extension to non O based on retirement. Need to buy a multiple reentry permit. No limit on number of exit and reentry
  16. Not many folk apply for 12 month extension with day remaining on their permission of stay. At most immigration offices you can apply 30 days early and some such as CW,CM etc 45 days early. Regarding the 800k in the bank account it is required to be in the account minimum 2 months prior to application date. Not prior to permit expiry.
  17. You live in Pattaya. Good agents are everywhere. Try Maneerat Soi post office or someone similar. Also 90 day report is very easy now with the new online system. No difficult to do yourself.
  18. Seems strange. You would also need to check with Samui immigration that they issue non O retirement from visa exempt or tourist visa entry. I vaguely recall that immigration office not being cooperative with that. Hopefully someone can advise.
  19. Indeed. Also at BKK immigration will fill in the TM8 and provide photo 200baht.. If the op not able to.
  20. He will need to use money in the bank method for his extension. He can obtain the non O retirement in Thailand. He can enter visa exempt. He can obtain extension to visa exempt if required. He does not need a tourist visa. What he does need is a Thai bank account in his name only. An agent can do that which he should have organized last visit. After placing 800k in the Thai bank Account he can o rain a non O and subsequent extension..
  21. As @Peterw42 points out it depends on the transport office. When I did my TDL in Bangkok I had exactly same question especially as at that time there was long wait. I dealt with BSR ...here is snippet It varies. Don't know Korat think Bangkok 30 days.
  22. With a 4 day overstay they almost certainly fine you 4x500= 2000 baht and process your extension. Hopefully @ubonjoe can confirm
