  1. He does not need to do it just because of change of address. However if immigration allow him to make a TM47 that would be useful for next extension. Some offices (eg CW) now requure TM47 for extension application
  2. Technically you should do the TM30 as soon as you move to Pattaya. It's a change of address and unrelated to 90 day report. Immigration may allow you to make TM47 at same time. The immigration office will advise.
  3. Then yes do a change of address TM30 at Jomitien. Suggest you do it in person.
  4. You can do it in person at Jomtien immigration office. You need to provide TM30 (change of address). If you have rental agreement that would be useful. Just to be clear. Is this a permanent address change. Where will you apply for you next annual extension?
  5. A non O marriage or retirement provides a stamp of 90 days. If married you can obtain a 60 extension to visit wife = 5 months ~ It cannot be extended by 30 days.
  6. Being evasive doesn't help. You mention few more weeks I just renewed my pp (Oz) it took 20 days. They stated to allow up to 6 weeks. Back to your question. Yes you can renew your pp..
  7. No they are not. For the subsequent 12 month extension theO OP will require 800k in Thai bank account. Only delays that requirement. And requires trip to Loas (Vientiane) to obtain the Non O. Certainly and option if in home country and can obtain eVisa non o. Will assist to open bank account. Or agent for bank account 5k
  8. Why. Vientiane require an appointment added fact is that OP asked specific question. Have a read.
  9. Very tired of you. She will receive quick reply Monday. You posted earlier "no reply from OP" Clearly she is waiting for immigration to open Monday. I hope Samui correct the mistake with her stamp. She indicated 3 week stay Samui. They have options to achieve 150 day stay if Samui immigration refuse to alter stamp. The TM30 will be a minor concern for her situation.
  10. Does not require medical ins and yes can apply for 12 month extension
  11. Many examples of immigration offices refusing to correct error of stamp from entry to Thai airports. No so much in Bangkok where you can attend immigration to have error corrected. Not sure current office for this however previously was counter K at IT mall. Certainly the stamp can be altered at BKK airport. For the OP, all this is very inconvenient. Obviously she will attend Samui immigration Monday. All the TM30 chit chat is useless. My guess is Samui will tell her to nick off. Fall back option is to change plan to achieve 150 days using setv entry. That's possible without having stamp corrected
  12. And I answered. You can apply for any extension and it's "until date" will be same as pp expiry date. Also if you subsequently obtain new pp that permission of stay will not be altered. Life time ago I believe that it was. Not now
  13. A permission of stay is only given to pp expiry. Provide more details of your situation for more detailed advice. Are you currently in Thailand. What type of extension are you asking about etc
  14. Couple of obvious examples. A SETV + 30 day extension followed by 60 extension to visit wife ... Just one example of many. I would consider a non O marriage (eVisa) from UK and then 60 day extension to visit wife
  15. Useful thread here with some links https://aseannow.com/topic/1272457-metv-issued-in-uk/
  16. You can use either. In fact I previously had a FD account and savings account with the same bank.
  17. If you enter Thailand with a single entry non O you will be given a 90 day stamp. In the last 30 days of that permission of stay you would apply for 12 month extension. On the date you apply for the extension the 800k needs to have been in bank account for 2 months. Do you have a Thai bank account in your name only
  18. The only reason you're in a bad situation is due to rogue 2 month rule from Jomtien immigration. I posted above same time as your post. Given you have had ongoing extensions at that office you could ask them. Re Agent. You could use your own funds and ask agent to step around the 2 month issue if possible.
  19. Still think a visit is worthwhile. The OP has had continuous extensions based on retirement and immigration may overlook the (rogue) 2 month requirement. As Pattaya City expats point out in this link. The 2 months is Jomtien specific. https://pcec.club/Applying-for-Non-Immigrant-O-Retirement/
  20. No offense but that was not clear from the start. Why mention proof of marriage. I suggest you visit Jomtien and ask if 800k needs to be seasoned for 2 months to obtain non o. If answer is yes I suggest you obtain 30 day extension plus 60 day extension in that order.
