  1. Knock yourself out. Will achieve nothing. BTW: Can you add my complaints regarding TM30, TM47, etc etc
  2. That's what he meant by one day. BTW : I also have never received an eVisa overnight. I often obtain eVisa to Vietnam and that a 4-5 day turn around. In any event you can continue to complain or as suggested obtain the Non O in Thailand from visa exempt entry.
  3. OP, best to quit with the rants. If eVisa not working for you then enter Thailand visa exempt. Obtain a Non O marriage at your local immigration office in Thailand. After 60 days obtain 12 month extension.
  4. So what visa are you applying for? A single entry Non O marriage OR a Multiple Entry Non O visa valid for one year. In unrelated thread... @Tod Daniels stated..... "Since all the consulates switched over to the eVisa online web-portal the year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa (for marriage, retirement) was discontinued"
  5. Previously Savannakhet was good option. Now all visas are via eVisa (online) and that may take several days. Added issue is currently no online payments. There is better option
  6. So here you got the [only] answer, whingeing is pointless. And why bother with obtaining a Tourist Visa. He can simply enter visa exempt and obtain a Non O retirement and subsequent 12 month extension.
  7. https://aseannow.com/topic/1289232-whats-involved-with-changing-my-house-book-registration-yellow-book-to-a-new-address-in-a-different-location/
  8. Here is an example of flight ticket for your route. The "connection protected" means your bags (if any) are transferred to next flight. You won't be "stamped in" at DMK.
  9. Surely missing a zero after the 12. Life is a fitting sentence
  10. Correct reply above from Upnotover. Thread closed.
  11. Leave it blank You just had reentry permit thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1352004-re-entry-permit/#elControls_19593365_menu Despite your concerns re obtaining at airport perhaps the 200b service fee for filling in TM8 might be an option. Note: also if obtaining permit at immigration the departure date is irrelevant along with return date. The permit will expire same as current permission of stay date.
  12. You posted .... "This immigration officer (a grumpy old lady) looked at me and asked me "why are you still alone after living so many years in Thailand" and refused my extension because my TM3 was not valid" You mean TM30. Why was it not valid if you had a new TM30. So why was your extension refused if TM30 in order
  13. Not necessarily anymore as has been reported in many threads. My own personal experience in Thailand dealing with CW was for first 10+ years I had NEVER done a TM30. In last two years I provided a TM30 obtained just prior to attending for extension retirement. Keep up to date
  14. Seems you were not prepared. Above you mention TM3. That would be TM30. The requirements are very straightforward for extensions retirement. Just be aware of what immigration office requires.
  15. Think that you have not understood the expression. It means a policy that does not provide meaningful coverage. Obtained to satisfy immigration office.
  16. There is no need to return on tourist visa that provides 60 day stamp. Visa exempt also provides 60 day stamp and you can obtain Non O from that entry with a TM87 along with financial requirements.
  17. From AI results... "Thailand's Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is an online system that allows foreign visitors to register their arrival details before entering the country" One important word is online No mobile phone makes it more difficult.
  18. As has been already pointed out... You can obtain the Non O retirement at consulates/embassies outside of Thailand. Note: does not need to be home country unlike Non O-A application. OR You can enter visa exempt after killing off Non O-A.
  19. Just make sure that you don't have a reentry permit when you exit Thailand.
  20. Enough with the back story to TM6 no longer being required.
  21. You will be well served to read the replies rather than typing poorly informed statements. BTW: Why is daughter even obtaining an eVisa. How long does she plan to stay in Thailand.
  22. OP, mentions Nonthaburi. Title now changed from "TM" to Immigration Office
  23. They will not inform you via "letter" What is issue with providing cell #
  24. So to be clear ...you are not in Thailand but rather Canada. So what were the photos you mention earlier about. Yes enter visa exempt and obtain a Non O Process explained here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1311886-visa-exempt-to-retirement-extension-process-and-cost/
  25. 1.They didn't mean Renew the O-A. They meant obtain 12 month extension to your permission of stay. That can be done ongoing. 2. They always state obtain Tourist Visa to obtain Non O in Thailand.. Not required. A visa exempt entry is satisfactory.
