Fake Gillette razor blades SCAM on most online stores Now! !@#$%

There's no doubt that it's unnecessary to learn how to shave with a straight razor in the 21st century but apart from being basically free once you're set up, yes there is pleasure in the masculine ritual (it's unfortunate if some guys feel threatened by the activity but that's their problem). However, I wouldn't call it delusional as another poster did earlier, or certainly no more delusional than many other masculine activities such as watching a group of overweight men running around a field fighting over an inflated pigskin. -
If you have Line and they can't find you on the Grab map for some reason, you could offer to share your location with them on that app instead.
-
You don't really have to say anything most of the time. Just give them the money (with a tip if you like) and say thank you. After the order is placed, you can check the status in the Grab app. First a driver will accept the order (hopefully!), then the status should change to 'In the kitchen' and then out for delivery (can't remember the exact message). You can then follow the driver's/rider's progress on the map and go outside to meet them when they are nearly there. They will hold the package in front of them and take a photo before handing it to you. At least that's what they do whenever I use Grab. (You can also add a local debit /credit card to the app and pay when you book if you don't keep cash at home but you'd still need to tip them separately if you do that I guess.) The only problem you might have is if they can't find your house and call you up for directions.

I'd be reluctant to use one as a weapon - I'd have to hone it again afterwards. ???? -
The OP was talking about shady pricing practices on Lazada, such as increasing the total cost by 20% when checking out. Where I shop has no relevance to that discussion. If it's not possible for them to make money without resorting to dishonest pricing practices then those businesses were never viable in the first place. Don't expect customers to feel sorry for them.
-
I do but that's hardly relevant to this discussion.
-
It's a 20% increase in this case, which I'd consider sizeable.

Someone gave me an air fryer and I wasn't impressed. Also the handle broke off the metal basket the first time I tried to use it for chips.

Right back at you. ???? -
Yes but I thought it was wrong of them to prevent people from warning other customers about counterfeit goods. Even after involving the manufacturer in my case, all they did was remove the one item I complained about. The vendor was allowed to continue advertising (and presumably sell) other counterfeit goods in his Lazada store.
-
I tried to post the review from my account when I was logged in but it was immediately rejected with some garbled message about counterfeit goods.
-
I guess it could be but in my case I provided them with clear evidence from the manufacturer regarding the products in question.

I'm not sure what Airpay was - I just remember it was the only option I could find to pay when I first bought something from Shopee a few years ago. I transferred money to the Airpay account then uploaded the receipt.
-
Honestly. I really don't know because Lazada is the only site on which I've encountered this issue. However, I do know from personal experience and observation that they used to publish such reviews and then started rejecting them.

So Value Added Tax is not tax? I'm confused. But all this talk of tax is really a red herring. Wasn't the OP's issue the fact he was told he could get the drugs and was then refused them after attending the hospital? I don't think he was concerned about the cost, it was being refused the drugs he was told he needed and could get that upset him. I do agree the Thai tax system has nothing to do with me, or you for that matter, seeing as neither of us has a say in it.

How much do the average Thai person earn ?
Mark1066 replied to Baron Samedi's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
In order to calculate an average, you need to take all salaries into account, not just the lowest. That's simple maths, not arrogance. If YOU re-read the OP, you will see that he included upper class Thais in his request for salary information. Also, is the ignore function not working any more? -
I've never had that problem. I have had numerous issues with Lazada though, like being told my browsing activity was unusual just because I clicked on more than one or two items in a minute, then being asked to complete a captcha that doesn't work.
-
Okay but if you have a locally issued debit card then I don't see your problem. I wasn't aware you can't use bank transfers any more - they don't offer that Airpay option now then?

I never said I had direct experience of shaving my head and that's not the topic being discussed so why would I need to in order to comment? It was you that changed the topic to head shaving, not me. And a '50s Gillette Tech can be had for $5-$10 if you shop around: hardly expensive, especially considering it will easily last another 50 years or so. -

I don't shave my head so no. The majority of people don't shave their heads as far as I'm aware but I have seen posts on shaving forums from quite a few who do it with a safety razor. Like I said in my post, the milder safety razors from the 50s/60s/70s are very easy to use really. I wouldn't fancy doing it with a straight razor though. -

Hilarious - I didn't realise I was conversing with someone who could only manage to read the title of threads and not the actual content. Thank goodness you've put me on ignore - that will save us both a lot of wasted time. ???? -

No, that's pretty much how Thai people think nowadays. In the past, to be considered as hi-so one had to be a member of the aristocracy or at least on speaking terms with them. Nowadays any celebrity with a pile of cash is also considered to be hi-so. However, contrary to what many foreigners seem to believe, shopping at Paragon still does not qualify you as being hi-so in Thailand. -

You obviously didn't even read the OP. He asked "who earns how much in Thailand" followed by a list that included 'upper class' Thai people and then asked for facts, which are being provided. He didn't ask for facts on just the lowest earners.
