OK, the school where he dresses either as Klansman or in blackface is NOT mentioned in this thread. The school where he received the nickname "Coonman" is. The big issue is, or should be, his support of infanticide.

I have not heard anyone mention the school who published the yearbook. Don't they have an editorial policy? Have they no responsibility? Just another story to keep the 24/7 newscycle rolling along - stay tuned for a new villian tomorrow.
Has anyone checked his history since he left medical school? What has he done to fight racism or endorse it or go along with it?
I don't know this man. I don't care what party he is a member of now and his position on abortion is irrelevant. The more attention paid to something like this that happened many years ago, the more it takes people's eyes off what is really going on in Yemen and other troubled places. If the governor resigns because of this. What is next??

I have a feeling the boom is just starting and like the coffee shop boom and gym boom, there will be many of these places to choose from. The costs I have seen make them much more attractive than the US.

History.com reports 25 were sent for Bin Laden.
https://www.history.com/news/osama-bin-laden-death-seal-team-six
Stone says 29 were sent for him. The FBI has not contradicted that.

Plus armored vehicles, helicopters, and of course CNN just "happened" to be in the neighborhood to record the whole sad incident in all its glory. Now they want to shut him up. hmmm.....
They sent more men to arrest Stone than were sent to kill Bin Laden.

But, as I said, the Republicans, and especially our Electoral College-selected President, have been using this tempest in a teapot because they seem to be unable to come up with anything else. It's all really ridiculous when you compare it to all of Trump's countless false claims and outright lies.
Yes, I know how the cursed Electoral College works and why we still have it in the 21st century and not election by popular vote is a mystery to me. Thank you, cursed Electoral College, for giving America George W. Bush and now Donald Trump. It bears remembering that Clinton won nearly 3 million more votes than Trump.
Kind of like the a losing football team claiming, "Yeah, they got more points, but we got more yardage. We should win." Had the contest been for the popular vote, most likely Trump would have won because he would have run a different campaign. He beat the best the Republicans could throw at him and the best of the Democrats. It is reasonable to assume he would have won another contest where the rules were different. Complaining about the rules after the fact is ridiculous.

Her apology won't work with the voters.
She will now be kept comfortable while a discussion ensues.

IQAir 250. I bought mine from the authorized IQAir dealer in Bangkok on FB and replacement filters as needed from the same guy. Very easy and both the purifier and later the replacement filters were delivered to my door.

He needs to be re-elected to protect himself and those close to him from indictment.
If he isn't president, he can't pardon anyone including himself.
If he isn't president, he loses the immunity from indictment.
If he isn't president, he can't run out the clock for offences with statutes of limitation.
If he isn't president, he can't appoint cronies to positions which influence legal outcomes for him and the Trump Organisation.
If he isn't president, he loses the power to intimidate senators who in turn may feel free to enact laws which negatively affect him and his interests.
The only way he won't run is if he gets iron-clad immunity for himself, his family, his assets and his secrecy. That is too much to ask and too tricky to arrange so is very unlikely to happen.
Sadly, Trump has to run and will run. I hope he doesn't win again.
Trump will run and he will win...again.

I use AirAsia and other budget airlines only when they are the only ones offering direct non-stop to places I want to go, short distances. All other times it's Thai or Bangkok Airways. I wouldn't dream of flying a budget airline long haul.

Not more than 30 baht. LOL
I often see them overcharging Chinese tourists going on short distance by charging them over 50 baht per person.
Good on the drivers. Hopefully the word will get out and the Chinese will stop coming here.

A bit of amusing "trump" shutdown nostalgia. It's over now so maybe we start to laugh about it?
Remember not so many hours ago "trump" and some of his clueless billionaire lackeys were suggesting being without a paycheck was no big deal to workers?
One of their lines was the workers could ask landlords and grocers to "work with them" and so on.
Well, there were reports that some people were calling "trump" hotel in Washington, identifying themselves as among the impacted federal workers, and asking if the hotel would "work with them" on booking rooms.
Their reported answers were -- no, the "trump" hotel does not "work with" federal workers.
Funny, huh?
Affected Federal workers were all offered zero interest no credit check loans to get them through for those not allowed to show up for work, it was a paid vacation. Here is but one example of the offers made by many banks and credit unions.

Trump did not realize that Pelosi's and Schumer's hate for him exceeded any love they might have had for the US. It's all about the hate. But beyond that he played it well.
All this ties into another upcoming event: RBG will assume room temperature very soon. Trump wisely reopened the government and will not allow it to be shut it down again as he does not want to give Pelosi an excuse to hold up hearings for RBG's replacement on SCOTUS.
It's called 3D chess and Trump plays it well. Pelosi and Schumer continue to play checkers.

I expect nothing less from Mueller, given his obvious witch hunt to find anything at all to hang on the president, and his abject failure so far to come up with anything even remotely to do with Russian collusion. Small result for the millions of tax payer dollars spent on this ( IMO ) wild goose chase.
I'm hoping that Stone will hang in there, and he must know that even if they do manage to convict him on something, Trump will be pardoning him.
Yes, as defense attorneys have put it, Mueller tries to force people to not only sing, but to compose.

A pre-dawn raid with 29 armed FBI agents, CNN tipped off. All for a guy who has zero history of violence. Lots of drama, lots of theater. The indictments are all for process crimes. Ho hum.

SInce the topic has to do with the English language, I'll ask the following. Why do people insist on starting a sentence with the word "So" as the OP did? It's unnecessary and doesn't add anything at all.
