One time we had a problem printing Hubby's "next appointment" slip.  I filed his report online and he received an email approval within hours, but when I tried to print the "next appointment" slip, I received a message, in Thai, that the system couldn't locate the record.  I checked for the next couple days with the same results and gave up.  Instead, I printed the approval email and put that in Hubby's passport.

When the next 90 day report was due, he filed in person and showed the approval email, explaining the problem.  It was a simple matter of the I/O looking up the history on her computer and seeing that he had indeed filed online for the previous 90 day report.

You correctly put "next appointment" in quotes as it appears to be a misnomer.  I find no referenced to the next appointment in my approval receipt.

If you go back on the site and click check status you should be able to find the approval after entering the reference number or your passport number and etc. Which if I recall correctly says next appointment for it.

I did the online report yesterday morning and received the notification of approval email yesterday afternoon.

On the approval receipt itself, I do not see any reference to the next appointment.  My question is, what, if anything, do we staple into the passport?  Right now my old "next appointment" slip (obtained by an in person 90 day report) is in my passport.

What a load of bullshit, the baht is way over valued, and we all know the jealous little turds, are the most racist nation on the planet. They hate the sight of anyone but themselves the place is dying a death and I’m the first to applaud it.

Did you read the OP? It said, "Lured by the rich culture, first-class healthcare, and low cost of living, an increasing number of expats are calling Thailand home,"

Exactly how do you get "the place is dying a death"?

Now a former Obama administration health official has weighed in on the professionalism of a doctor stating that someone will remain in good health for an indefinite period of time, especially after that patient has not followed the health goals prescribed following his last check up:

“No doctor can predict someone’s future health,” Klain tweeted in response to Conley’s statement on Saturday. “This is a disgrace to an office with a great tradition of professionalism. Just another institution turned into a joke by a President determined to make anyone willing to submit an instrument of his lies.”

Of course, the Trump followers will jump on his being a former Obama official, but what he says is quite valid.  You go for an annual check up, the Dr says you're not doing too bad, but need to cut back on the cholesterol and get more exercise.  If you fail to do so then more fool you, and the following year any competent Dr is definitely not going to say "Don't worry, you'll remain in very good health for the foreseeable future."

That's strange because the WH physician said the following about Obama in 2014, “All clinical data indicates that the president is currently healthy and that he will remain so for the duration of his presidency”

No one complained then.  So it's OK if a doctor predicts a Democratic president's future health, but not a Republican president's?

The recent immigration financial requirement of depositing 800,000 baht in a Thai bank will slow this "boom" down a little.

I was thinking more of the Thai tendency to imitate.  One opens a certain kind of business then the others do the same until supply far outstrips demand.  In the past many opened coffee shops. Now it appears to be gyms.  The future may be retirement villages.

Trump just mentioned the sinister issue.  1003 PM EST.  SOTU.

From the SOTU transcript:  "There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our Nation saw in recent days. Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth. These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world. And then, we had the case of the Governor of Virginia where he basically stated he would execute a baby after birth."

The Dem leaders want Northam to resign before Trump's SOTU.  With Northam still in office, he and the Dem leaders are fair game for Trump, not only on the racism issue, but on the more sinister issue as well.  Expect Trump to mention both at the SOTU.  Right now Pelosi, Biden, Clinton and gang are scrambling for damage control.  It's not going to be pretty.
