anchadian replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The police initially believe that the van crash in Korat, which killed 11 people could happen when the driver slept behind the wheel as there was no trace of using the brake. @TNAMCOT https://twitter.com/TNAMCOTEnglish/status/1617447613820989446 -

Concur. Anutin's thinking - all those foreigners that had ruined holidays, the influx of Chinese tourists will make up for it. -

Thailand causes global confusion after reinstating then dropping vaccination requirements Travellers, airlines and tour operators had a rollercoaster few days after Thailand reinstated its Covid-19 vaccination entry requirement, only to drop it again just hours later. https://www.nzherald.co.nz/travel/thailand-causes-global-confusion-after-reinstating-then-dropping-vaccination-requirements/DTBTXL6SRVHWBFTHVL2ARSPWIY/ -

How many ruined holidays....I've lost count? It’s all very well Mr. Anutin saying that the requirement for vaccination certificate is dropped immediately, but in the real world foreign tourists are still being refused boarding as CAAT still hasn’t informed airlines. And when they do it takes time to circulate https://twitter.com/RichardBarrow/status/1612360746498936834

I wasn’t able to attend the press conference as I have Covid, but I would have asked Mr. Anutin, the guy in the photo not wearing a mask, who will compensate the tourists whose holidays were ruined by his flip-flopping. This fiasco has done immense damage to the tourism industry. https://twitter.com/RichardBarrow/status/1612347222292828160

Some people told me they were refused boarding by AirAsia for flights to #Thailand for not being vaccinated. This person said he’s vaccinated but didn’t have his documents on him. Meanwhile in Thailand, no-one is checking documents on arrival. Who will compensate these tourists? https://twitter.com/RichardBarrow/status/1612339501673906176
