Why wouldn't you be able to charge it from home? It's never happened to me and I can't think of a scenario other than a power cut where I couldn't, and they never last very long. That is a nonsense argument. What happens if your fuel filler pipe falls off the tank? (it happened to me, but it's another nonsense argument). I doubt I will be alive to tell you how much a new battery costs, but I am guessing a 1/10th of what it currently costs. At 2 years old I got 90% of new price when I sold one and 78% of new price when I sold another, which is better than ICE equivalents. What happens to any car under warranty when it breaks down? they fix it for free, my warranty is 8 years, after that I pay for them to fix it. Two garages near my home for BYD and two garages near my home for MG. nearest within 3km.

Are you really a Doctor? Of what? Nonsense? Explain why EV‘s are a scam? Explain why they are not practical? Why would you dispose of lithium batteries when the lithium content is of such a high density it makes far more sense to recycle them? Explain why you think there is so much lead in the vehicle? Why would I want to read battery a Chinese vehicle when the existing battery is likely to last 20 years?

Why 100kW? Any DC Charger is a fast charger -
You need to try running on battery only to understand, it's like being wafted along on a silent magic carpet and as a bonus, you're paying 4 times less per km on battery power.

Carlos is alleged to be a fraudster. Undoubtedly he is a talented businessman.

I think posters who claim to have or had an EV and diss them are telling porky pies.

Nobody cares about market share by vehicles on the road, what we care about is what the EV percentage sales of new vehicles is. We could have 100% sale of new vehicles being EV’s, and the market share would still be under 2%, clearly the 2% figure is a useless statistic. -

Electric Vehicles in Thailand

There is often all kinds of deals done “off-paper”. I used to buy the last few unsold apartment units in new apartment blocks in central london near tube stations as buy-to-let investments. The major developers could all be persuaded to pay legal fees, stamp duty, furniture packs and sometimes even up to 3 months mortgage payments, long enough for my team to get tenants in. All I had to fund was the 15% mortgage deposit. This was my pension scheme from the age of 40. -

What did you replace your wife’s Celerio with? -
It take some time to wrap your head around the concept that if you have charging at your house, you don’t need any charging stations within 150 km of your home and if you’re going on a long distance journey, maybe not even within 500 km. When everyone is driving an electric car, we will need less than 1 in 20 of the existing petrol stations to have charging facilities, most of them will just close or be repurposed into something else.

I found one of the articles, in the UK HEV sales are down but PHEV sales are up. I think the trend is towards BEV and PHEV. BEV sales are rebounding in the UK too. The trend with PHEV is towards longer battery range too. https://autovista24.autovistagroup.com/news/bevs-bounce-back-uk-new-car-market-starts-2024-positively/

Did I read HEV/PHEV sales declined last year in Thailand? Or did I read that for the UK or dream it? -
The issue for me with Nissan is that S&P changed their credit rating to Junk this month. Nissan does not have a good track record with EV’s and the Kicks is an outlier in terms of technology. I think I read that hybrid demand last year here was dropping but I can’t swear to that.
