  1. Which fictitious god of the 12,000 or so are you talking about?
  2. You do understand that this is from Thai politicians? For Thai politicians, think of a farang and remove honesty, logic and accountability and you've got it.
  3. Towns and cities will need very few EV charging Stations (CS) because they will only be used by travelers from another distant town. Pretty much every EV has a range of over 300km, so if you are going on a long trip you need a CS every 250km and if visiting someone not as far as 300km then you need one every 150km so you can charge up on the way back. What we are likely to see is large EV charging parks on major highways, current petrol stations are likely to convert to EV and hopefully will display an indicator displaying number of free slots, they are about every 5-15km so likely to be plenty. Smart entrepreneurs may build CS with 100's of spots with multiple restaurants/coffee shops etc. Most EV's today do offer the ability to charge on EV from another, but very slowly and I don't see that taking off. Range anxiety is something only new owners of an EV or non-owners worry about. I did until I did my first long distance trip on highway 1, then I realised there were dozens of chargers.
  4. You are forgetting, people charge at home, you only need charging stations every 150km
  5. Tents have to charge 7% VAT on the sales price of the vehicle. Sometimes they will absorb that cost themselves if they have a high profit margin in the sale eg you bought on finance. 12 years ago after I finished commuting from Pattaya to Bangkok every week, I sold a Camry to a tent in Pattaya with over 100k kms on it, I later saw it in my condo building with 30k kms recorded on it.
  6. Are you saying being gay is a perversion?
  7. I have ordered photochromic film from China 25% to 70% depending on ambient light.
  8. Nonsense, they can't be administered within 20 minutes of last drink or it's an instant failure from mouth alcohol.
  9. I renewed the insurance on my daughter's one year old MG EV last month, 8,800 baht 1st class.
  10. Have you noticed any difference in performance between the two?
  11. I think it's down to context, if you have a thread inviting insults as humour, then so long as they are humorous and not serious, I don't see a problem. If the recipient is offended, then obviously that is a problem.
  12. Guilty as charged, or did you mean expert with ONLY a primary school education?
  13. You do need to look at the insults here as humour, I'm sure none are meant as real insults.
  14. I wasn't referring to the age range.....
  15. I'm not entirely sure you fit that description...
  16. Beware opinionated chemist engineers.
  17. I think that is going to be much more true for legacy Western auto makers. Chinese EV makers will hit a profit on volume, for legacy auto makers, they can't compete and more volume is likely to equal more loss. Unless Western governments apply very large tariffs on Chinese BEV's to protect their industries, consumers won't like that at all.
  18. Non-issue, it's simply a case of what you order from the electricity provider. In the UK the motorway service stations are changing over to Electric and the grid are upgrading their network to provide the needed output to each station. It is called "planning". You have to love these "armchair youtube experts".
  19. China makes profit on every EV they sell, EV's do indeed have a great future, the American Auto Industry, not so much.
  20. Thought so, I couldn't smell burning this time.
  21. I see a place for Hydrogen vehicles, they will be cheaper to buy than BEV's but less popular and sub-optimal for cars. Green Hydrogen will be at least 3 times more expensive than Electricity (probably 5 times), which is why people will buy BEV's if they can afford them because their running costs will be *MUCH* cheaper.
  22. Did you think of that all on your own?
  23. I can't see how American Automobile manufacturers can be competitive against China.
  24. My experience is contrary to that, I can achieve more that the stated range if I drive smoothly. That’s true for 3 different EV’s I have owned.
