  1. ER is probably not the best place, they deal with emergencies, unless he sees a "star", they will probably send him home with paracetamol. He needs to see a specialist like Sheryl suggested. I have a "star" in Chiang Rai Government Hospital that I see every 6 months. I had a kidney stone and my kidneys started crashing, I saw a urologist on her recommendation, he sent me away with tablets to dissolve the stone. On the way back in the car she called me on LINE and told me to turn around and go back, the urologist had missed that my kidneys were crashing. They operated the next day.
  2. Useful post, stop him going to a doctor and find out what it really is. On his tombstone “Skipalongcassidy said there was nothing wrong with me”
  3. My money is on the supply not making a good contact or the terminals not being torqued down correctly. It's 32 amps for 7 hours, it's vital it's installed properly.
  4. I was about to say it's not appropriate to do that when Sheryl said it for me.
  5. I wonder when the op will have DUNTROLLIN
  6. Since Toyota and their recall of 1.9M cars over battery problems (risk of fire).
  7. Don’t underestimate how serious this is. There are a few infections where this is the intermediate phase and the ultimate phase can be fatal. Follow Sheryl’s advice urgently.
  8. It did happen years ago, then they stopped the route.
  9. I saw a white Camry yesterday with a white number plate surround that had weathered to beige. I hope your white surround stays white.
  10. That won't work for people like Bandersnatch & I who opted for the coloured vanity plates.
  11. That article is about Lithium ION batteries, the BYD Seal doesn't use those. Lithium ION are much less suitable for hot climates.
  12. Interesting to note that the Seal used 16% less energy than the Model 3. I have had rapidgate 3 times in my Seal Performance, first time showing a souped up Isuzu truck who was the boss over about 10km of highway, with 2 traffic lights briefly at red. A Changan saloon was briefly involved, the Isuzu showed him a clean pair of heels as did I the Isuzu. Second & third between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. For those that know that road, I did door to door (Bo Sang to Downtown Chiang Rai) in 2 hours 11 minutes. That road often gets long lines of cars stuck behind trucks and I overtake pedal to the metal. I would be surprised if anyone actually hits rapidgate, you have to be driving like a hoon or I would guess high speed (illegal) cruising to see it.
  13. From your link... The facilitator will be careful and clear, or in the future, some areas will determine or give preferential treatment to this type of car first. Therefore, it is necessary to distinguish it more clearly. I like preferential treatment, I'm special.
  14. Yes, they really are selling that fast.
  15. You're between 11 and 130 times more likely to park next to a fire if you park next to an ICE vehicle.
  16. Nobody in a senior position in the police is honest. You buy your promotions in a secret auction. Lower members are given targets of how much they must collect and pass up the chain. Everyone has a target they must pass up the chain of command, over and above that target they can keep. If you don't play their game you don't get promoted. Aspiring district chiefs often bid half a million dollars or more for the top job. The numbers involved are vast. The problem is this guy knows all the dirt on everyone, he's more than likely to have been told go quietly and you can keep your ill-gotten gains, but he isn't going quietly or easily, it's a big problem for all the seniors, I am surprised he is still alive, IMHO he must have spread the dirt with lawyers to be released on his untimely death.
  17. IIRC the Cybertruck is made from 304 grade Stainless Steel, that's not suitable for anyone living near the coast, it will rust. 316 Marine Grade is the minimum recommended. I understand Cybertrucks are rusting already.
  18. I have 4 glue traps in my garage, never caught a rat but a few geckos, cockroaches & a bird.
  19. The cheaper tablets have plastic screens, they become useless after a few hours of use....if you get that far.
  20. I don't have any direct experience of defamation, I do know you have a choice of police or court for your complaint. I don't think a lawyer is going to recommend you go to the police and advise himself out of a job.
  21. My eldest daughter says their frozen Spaghetti Carbonara is better than every restaurant we go to (we eat out a lot). I disagree with her btw.
  22. As I said, I watched that performance when it happened. I am not misremembering it, I don't think anyone translated it incorrectly. My memory is spot on. I do watch Mearsheimer occasionally, but he's not credible.
  23. The usual "fluff" post
  24. I don't speak Russian so you will have to have it in English. Incidentally, I watched and remembered this. Putin’s made-for-TV security debate gives him answers he wants to hear on Ukraine (ft.com)
  25. I know it is true for defamation, I'm not sure about other matters. Claiming compensation is expensive and as you found out, your costs were higher. Here is some text and a link If someone is trying to destroy your reputation by making the false statement. You can protect yourself by claiming the defamation case against them. You can file the criminal lawsuit at the court. However, you need to be careful about the statute of limitation. Because the defamation is a compoundable offense (both general and public defamation) which is subject to three months statute of limitation. This means, you have three months from the date that you know the incident and the accused, to file the lawsuit at the court or file the police report at the police station. Although the defamation is the criminal offense. But if you want to claim the compensation, you also need to file the civil case along with the criminal one. The reason is the court cannot grant the monetary damages to you in the criminal case. H&P Herrera and Partners - Relevant aspects of a Defamation Case in Thailand (herrera-partners.com)
