    And Farage had never helped the Trump campaign? But that was not my point. Jonny thinks it a good idea for the leader of a UK political party and an MP to assist a foreign leader undermine a sitting UK PM.

    That special relationship has always been a one way street. The French also claim a special relationship, and Trump boasts of his special relationship with a few other national leaders.

    Perhaps the same reports I read, but a super majority is a specified number of seats in both senate and congress for specific legislative acts that cannot be passed with a simple majority. The Republicans have a simple majority which will effectively give Trump unchecked legislative freedom over everything except those acts requiring a super majority.

    Farage willing to help a foreign power would not be a surprise. Why you would wish him to do so is.

    I wouldn’t presume his blessings, but you might want to hope he spares some for the UK too. I think prayer is the usual way to submit requests.

    The two are not mutually exclusive.

    A decisive victory avoiding court battles any other of the widely predicted ‘troubles’. Also a super majority removing all barriers to Trump enacting his agenda. The transition will of course be peaceful, after which America will learn precisely what it voted for. So too will the rest of the world. Buckle up.
