  1. When did I make such a claim. Provide a quote of me stating that.
  2. Just as well them to avoid the tariffs on imports that Trump is promising. Just as well then to keep the CHIPS Act, that Trump and the Republicans have said they will get rid of. Just as well then to have Harris’ plan to make price gouging of groceries illegal. Just as well then not to undertake mass deportations of the people who work to, grow, harvest and process the foods all Americans need.
  3. Can you point out which parts of the budget contravene which parts of the ‘Labour Manifesto’ Both are available so direct quotes from both shouldn’t be a problem for you.
  4. Maybe the Police should start believing women and girls reporting rape and sexual abuse.
  5. What do approval ratings matter 4 years from the next election!
  6. The bit I like about this is the rightwing haven’t yet figured out how Labour will address the need for economic growth. Get your blood pressure meds ready.
  7. There is nothing unpopular about massively increasing funding to the NHS, increasing funding to schools and increasing the minimum wage by 6.7% while maintaining the triple lock.
  8. I regularly check my private industry pensions, they’re in a healthy condition. I would dearly like to see more working people in the private sector have access to final salary pension schemes. Perhaps that explains why I’m not eaten with envy and keen to see others have their pension rights stripped from them. I sincerely hope you made the right choices too.
  9. No, you just exposed your inability to engage in discussion. Care to share a link to the source of the ripped images your post?
  10. Also a junior minister in Churchill’s wartime coalition government.
  11. That’s a rather vivid imagination you have, but please leave me out of your sordid fantasies.
  12. I’ve often observed the inability of some to express themselves, relying as they do on ripped images and memes. It begs the question, why join a discussion forum if you are unable to discuss?!
  13. I don’t comment on photos or videos. Apart from format, angle view, perspective, framing, lighting, contrast, focus and any number of other image parameters (it gets even more complex with video) there’s the added problem of image manipulation and lately image fabrication. Much better to stick to ‘discussion’. So you tell us what you think is wrong with one of the pictures and we can discuss that.
  14. Trump’s now at the point where he’s simulating fellatio with the microphone during a rally of his dwindling, domestic, fan base.
  15. Write to the Government and tell them you don’t want the triple lock.
  16. Well that’s the death of any claim you have to be concerned for the welfare of ordinary working people. How about returning to the arrangements under which ordinary working people in the private sector also had access to first class workplace pensions? At the high of the British empire working class people in Britain were living in poverty, disease ridden slums, no access to health care, no opportunity to advance in life and with a life expectancy of under 50 years. https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/lifeexpectancies/articles/howhaslifeexpectancychangedovertime/2015-09-09 https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/guides/z83ggk7/revision/3#:~:text=Seebohm Rowntree conducted research in,below the 'poverty line'.
