    Did the Peruvian Government even consult with mental health professionals? How did they decide on a single diagnosis of ‘mentally ill’ for a whole group of people? Perhaps they resorted to the ‘professional’ opinion of a self declared practitioner of some ‘ubiquitous profession’.

    Don’t blow it out of proportion, it’s no big deal. Look at it as an example of free speech being exercised and protected under the 1st Amendment. The ‘I don’t agree with what they say but they have a right to say it’ kind of thing.

    I photographed the very first Edinburgh Pride Parade which assembled before their march right outside my house in The New Town. But no, I didn’t attend, although they looked like a peaceful bunch enjoying a fun day out. I don’t lurk on Pattaya beech at 1am either, but feel free to share your experiences.
