The photographs are being sold by the descendants of Sir John Franklin. What is ‘truly vile’ about families selling property left by their deceased forefathers? The photographs are their property and its their right to sell if they do choose.

Trump is damaging democracy right now. He’s continually attacking Democracy and the institutions of Democracy. He’s already convinced millions of Americans that Justice is corrupt, he’s holding the torch for despots and tyrants the world over. On the upside he’s destroying the GOP.

There’s money to be made out of publishing doom scenarios of Trump getting away with it all. The same media were posting Trump will never be charged, when he gets to trial they’ll be telling everyone Trump won’t be convicted. Trump sells. Drip feeding the progress of his journey through the criminal Justice system is a way of spinning out those sales.

I never expected there would be. Certainly not from anyone claiming not to be Trump supporter while advancing pro-Trump views of his legal challenges.

I can think of alternative and more fitting pieces if porcelain on which to put that picture.

Attempting to over throw an election is ‘a crime against democracy’.

And swathes of Republicans are going to be giving sworn testimony against Trump at his trials.

That cuts both ways. There’s also a great deal of ‘election interference conspiracy’ and ‘whataboutary’.

It’s not what the polls say that matters. Its what the checks to his campaign have to say. Writing checks for a guy facing criminal charges in the hope that he might beat the mountains of evidence against him is not an emotional decision.
