  1. Please don’t assume who I think are the ‘good guys’ without referring to a statement I have made to substantiate your claim. I’m sure the Venn diagram of Musk Haters and Trump Haters approximates to a unitary circle, but that is not evidence that hating Musk is a Proxy for hating Trump. They both share characteristics that are equally and independently worthy of despising, it is perfectly possible to hate both independently, I expect t many do.
  2. The link I posted provides evidence of bail refusals based on race v race representation in the general population. Since the two sets of data are compared on a percentage basis, not total cases, the comparison is therefore independent of total numbers of crimes by each racial group. Have another go.
  3. The thread isn’t about your misconceptions of Socialism.
  4. All past tense laced with the fuzzy accusation of ‘enabling’. Back to Reform’s wins. Reform now need to deliver, something that is considerably more difficult than sniping from the sidelines. The range of issues they need to deliver on is considerably broader than your Muslim fixation.
  5. Why would your fictitious representation of reality upset me? Reform getting responsibility and accountability to deal with problems rather than sniping from the sidelines is a good thing.
  6. No I didn’t mean but but but… whatabout. I was sticking to the topic of discussion. Give it a try.
  7. Reform now move from a party complaining about other people’s failures to deliver to a party that must now itself deliver. Reform’s failure to vet their candidates who are now in public office and therefore open to public scrutiny is going to make for some interesting times ahead.
  8. Why is this a surprise? White defendants are far less likely to be remanded in custody than defendants from any other ethnic background. https://www.prisonpolicy.org/blog/2019/10/09/pretrial_race/
  9. Says extreme irrationalist. Here’s the definition of treason: It starts with something along the lines of ‘whoever, owing allegiance to the United States’. Away with you and your emotional nonsense. https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?path=/prelim@title18/part1/chapter115&edition=prelim
  10. Mainland Britain is a cold wind-swept island, politically on the middle of nowhere.
  11. There’s also growing opposition to Trump’s immigration policies: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/may/01/may-day-protests
  12. Maybe they consider the artwork a message of welcome to their diverse customer base.
  13. It’s a private business and can do as it pleases with its money, on this occasion that seems to have been responding to its staff, which is no bad thing. Diversity is with us, always has been. It’s good to see it being celebrated.
  14. Let me make it clear for you. That’s no definition of treason anywhere outside your own head.
  15. Can’t even brighten up a train with some art without triggering a sullen grievance fest. Some folk are only happy when they’re miserable.
  16. Accusing an American of being a traitor for disagreeing with a Presidential policy enacted by executive order is extreme even if you. Even the Rosenberg’s were not charged with treason, perhaps they might have been if they were objecting to performative nonsense from an idiot President.
  17. The ‘winning’ is showing up in American shopping baskets. Amazon have just announced they are adding a ‘Tariff Price indicator’ to products on their U.S. Platform, this will provide transparency to customers of the price increase due to Trump’s tariffs. Its a transparency the White House isn’t keen on. Walmart and Target are warning of empty shelves as Trump’s tariffs trade war continues with no end in sight. But there has been a win on paper straws. https://www.business-standard.com/amp/world-news/us-china-trade-war-port-air-freight-shipment-drop-retailers-empty-shelves-125042800642_1.html
  18. The ‘word stage’ significance of Carney’s win is he can now pursue his stated aim to align Canada with Europe, the UK Australia and New Zealand and reduce reliance on the U.S. Nations acting together against U.S. threats rather than individually. As Carney has stated, we are now in a new world order, the response needs to be to that new order.
  19. Is that you confirming 6% unemployment is a confirmation of losing and if so can we hold you to that?!
  20. So you just announced your own taste to the forum.
  21. Good riddance I’ve already stated my view that personal donations to political parties should be limited to around a maximum of £1000/year. I’ll add company donations should be banned altogether. Enough of this buying political influence, regardless of which political party is on the receiving end of the purchase.
  22. Let’s be clear. I don’t have a problem with a couple of Non Doms leaving while leaving the vast majority of their assets in the UK. The bigger question is how did two British citizens, born in the UK and living in the UK get to be non-doms in the first place?!
  23. You aren’t aware these two Livingstone brothers are in the buy-to-let business? Perhaps you think their interests in the buy-to-let business are philanthropic. As for not being aware that the Livingstone brothers made hundreds of £millions from online gambling during the pandemic, perhaps you feel a need to defend rich folk without knowing where they make their money?! https://www.knightbainlettings.co.uk/blog/livingston-landlrds.html https://www.standard.co.uk/business/livingstone-ian-richard-gaming-casino-evolution-netent-a4479091.html
