Correct, but in terms of the allegation of people supporting Hamas and therefore in breach of UK law the distinction between Hamas and Palestinians is one of legal importance. There are many legitimate reasons to protest the suffering of Palestinians, there are absolutely no legitimate reasons to support Hamas.
