  1. The DOJ are on it. Jack be nimble, Jack be quick.
  2. Which might make sense were it not for multiple polls indicating the public are moving away from Brexit support. If people thought the UK should remain outside of the EU they would not be supporting another referendum, they’d simply say it’s done and dusted. Stop pretending otherwise.
  3. I suspect it’s something to do with BREXIT being a Pyrrhic Victory. To bastardize Plutarch: ‘One more victory like that and we’ll be ruined.’
  4. BREXIT, that ‘great British victory’ the ‘victors’ don’t like talking about.
  5. You m an there is no update. If that gives you comfort that Trump will not face Justice, let that be enough for now.
  6. So what does the poll at the top of this thread tell us?
  7. Show us the way, point out a few tangible benefits that mark the path.
  8. And the data keeps backing them up.
  9. UK, highest taxes in decades and rampant Government corruption.
  10. That was then, this is now.
  11. I was about to post a comment on the other thread along the lines of ‘Somebody has noticed the elephant in the room’. Which is clearly the case. Public opinion is moving steadily against BREXIT, the outcome of which needs to be brought to where it belongs, in the center of UK political and public discourse. I believe the recent trickle of articles discussing BREXIT’s obvious failure will only increase, and public opinion will increasingly follow. At some point, I suspect sooner than later, politicians will get over their fear of discussing the observable fact that BREXIT is damaging the UK. The silence of politicians on this issue is, to my mind, an indication of just how disconnected politicians have become from the people they are elected to serve.
  12. Why do you think people want another referendum?
  13. I’ll remind you, it was you who wanted to ignore the economic element (an aspect of BREXIT consequences that impacts everyone). But I welcome any evidence of tangible BREXIT benefits, perhaps ’Control of our borders’, then again, perhaps not.
  14. No worries, other polls are available: https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/articles-reports/2022/11/17/one-five-who-voted-brexit-now-think-it-was-wrong-d
  15. Let me know when the trend in polls reverses from its current direction.
  16. ? The mind boggles. Oh I get it, let’s ignore one of the most, if not the most, important outcomes of Brexit.
  17. A corrupt in effective Government is a significant part of the UK’s problems. Next failure, corrupt scandal, lettuce …!
  18. And since leaving the EU the Government has been handing contracts worth £Billions to people they definitely know the identifyof, often without any competitive bidding at all and frequently with few of any useful goods or services being delivered for the price paid.
  19. I’m wondering if you’ve ever actually undertaken a bid assessment.
  20. And a clear majority regard it a failure, results above.
  21. The time it takes to determine a decision was a mistake is not related to anything other than the outcome of the decision. On another bright side, Brexit supporters are ‘fading away’ faster than are Remain supporters. You should give up all hope of 50 years.
  22. This folks is what happens when you play ‘join the dots’ without any dots.
  23. For the BREXIT supporters who have a loathing of polls, here’s another to add reason to your aversion: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-poll-referendum-rejoin-eu-b2250813.html
