Yes Twitter has indeed been in the news, it appears you’ve not been keeping up with it.

The UK has not been able to do as it pleases since around the time of the Second World War. The latest example being Washington Schooling London on what is and is not acceptable wrt the UK’s post Brexit plans for Northern Ireland.

It was arising success at feeding the rightwing with something to be outraged over and a rather effective means of stripping Trump supporters of their hard earned cash.

Most Trump supporters have no problem at all with biased law enforcement, so long as it was Trump and USAG Barr in charge of the bias. Those days are gone. The DOJ is now acting independently and the appointment of a special council is a further segregation between the Administration and the delivery of Justice.

You’d like to see the GOP interfere in the process of Justice wrt to a former GOP President. Think about where that goes.

It’s going to age a lot better that the GOP Hunter Biden fixation. ’Chain of Custody’ is a critical issue in determining what is and what is not ‘evidence’. The Republicans would be well advised to give up on this lunacy and try instead to come up with some policies that might attract swing voters. Refer midterm election results for reasons why.

Any report on the contents of any computer is no more reliable than the custody chain of the computer upon which the report is made. Your statement that the ‘evidence is ‘incontrovertible’ is patent nonsense, without a solid and verifiable chain of custody the contents of the computer are inadmissible in any court of law (well any US Court of law). So since you brought them up, let’s have some morals out of you, less of these patently false claims.

The math is the same regardless. If you’re combined income is only sufficient at date of first retirement and your income is fixed or not keeping up with inflation then you have a very grim old age ahead of you. Worse still is taking on additional financial burdens on such a fixed income.

People who can’t afford to pay their bills or even eat regular meals don’t have spare cash sitting around to invest in anything. That you refer to people as peasants is explanation enough of why you don’t understand this.

Stick the two ends of this post together and a frozen pension gets awfully bad as the years go by. At 10% inflation the value of your pension halves in 7 years. At 7% inflation it halves in 10 years. Live 25 years past retirement and even 3% inflation is going to dramatically impact your buying power.
