Thanks. I had no idea things like this happened elsewhere in the world too, and I especially didn't expect it to take place in The Land of Flat Pack Furniture.

And yet "here" you are in Thailand.
Yes, I am here and I should probably return to the homeland, right? Saved you the time and effort that it would have taken you to write your next reply.

Land of Smiles? Land of Vile is more appropriate here.

Good damn commies!

Would've been more beneficial to have taken the road show to a large, underdeveloped government school in CM rather than one of the best school's in the city. Kids attending private schools already have enough opportunities!

So good. How about the police officers depicted by people dressed in super scary cuddly police officer suits. By where I live they have an advertisement that is basically a reenactment of a traffic incident but with super cute children playing the part of any adults. It is not very effective in prompting people to obey any kind of traffic laws and does kind of make a complete mockery of the police. That being said, with the number of children I see speeding around dressed in full school uniform I do not think it a bad idea to have a child police force responsible for keeping all the child drivers in check.

I bet almost non of the Thais whining about this on social media would've said anything to the arse bearers had they seen it. Every temple I go to, even if there's an entry fee, you'll almost always find some scantily clad farang or Thai tourist swaning around. Best to save that face and moan via a keyboard.

These kinds of allegations don't just appear out of thin air. If top clubs who pay top wages like Juve, Lazio, Milan, Fiorentina can be guilty of such scandals then I have no doubt that the paupers in Thai leagues can also be guilty.

Is busting a nut in Thailand illegal? Asking for a friend.

If ever there was a need for a gofundme, it's now! Let's all help out our Dave, I'll even put in the first £1, about 43THB. Good on you Dave.

Nice trolling pal, top work!

Sure, small shops can open, but what about the likes of Al Fayad, he had to close his shop on Christmas day and Easter Sunday, by law.
14 minutes ago, Kieran00001 said:So? Plenty of non-Christians own large shops in the UK but all of them are forced to obey the Christian trading law.
Yes, large shops will close. Maybe because if large shops were given the choice between opening on Xmas to make a few extra quid at the expense of their workers, denying them time to be with their families then I'm sure they would. Al-Fayed just so happens to be born in Egypt, so could be a Muslim, his shop is closed because it is large. Had he owned chains of service stations, they'd be open for Xmas day.

Sure, same in the West, why prevent Muslims etc from opening their shops on Christmas morning.
Really? Christmas day in the UK there is always a corner shop open where I live, be it Iqbal's, Sandeep's or Chris' shop, there's always one. Maybe your home country stops Muslims from opening but mine sure don't.

I wonder what the Christians and Thais of other faiths think about this matter. Why not one rule for the Buddhists who wish to not drink and let everybody else be.

As this guy is posting his video on YouTube, does that make him a digital nomad?

Ummm....there's 240 stores. Hardly enough to feed even a very small minority of the almost 70 million people here. Not counting foreigners.
Stand outside a local school when they are getting out. Junk food served everywhere. With pudgy kids eating the stuff. The one stand we saw with healthy food had ZERO customers. Zero.
Yeah the vendors outside the schools really do know their target audience well! Opposite my school's there's the sausage shop, chicken shop, sugary drink and cake shop and the cheap as you like Chinese made plastic toy shop. Can't knock the entrepreneurship of these shop owners.

Hope you dont mind i follow the lead of many by blocking you because your post are always the same: you praise prayut but never give an argument, add something interesting, or react on the content.
Have a good day.
I think stevieboy100 could very well be Thai version of the Russians who I've been reading about lately. They flood forums and social media with fake stories and propaganda in an attempt to influence. Worked with swaying the votes of Brexit and Trump, let's see if this fella can single handedly win round the TV users and make everyone love the junta.

The meteor shower will appear at the horizon approximately at 1.00 a.m. of 18 November 2017, and will be most visible from 2.00 a.m. until early morning over the northeastern sky near the Leo constellation which is the center of the shower.
Will people be able to take a selfie with the Leo constellation in the background and upload to social media or will they get banged up?

Yeah, unlucky pal. Not a massive fan of that part of town. Try moving out of town a little, in any direction, and it'll start to quite down except for the aforementioned dogs, roosters, etc but it's much nicer than having to listen to the horrid Thai dance music when you're trying to get some shut eye. Also get out of the centre and you'll probably find a lovely house at the same price as a poxy condo. Good luck sorting ya situation.

Fighting fish? Damn fish doesn't even have a machete. Where's the gun? Or the knife? Or does the fish only produce it's weapons when an unsuspecting fish cuts into their swimming lane?
Nice fish though.

How often posts on here are so negative about Thai life/society/people etc. It's disgraceful. Often the same posters. Why don't you just go home to where you came from.
Who's pulled the wool over your eyes? It's an online forum, people are allowed to vent. Thailand has some fundamental issues and it's not always possible to talk about them in public or to Thais so people turn to forums, like this one.

GREAT another holiday to send business's to the wall !
Do elaborate. Surely lots of businesses will prosper during this holiday? More time for the overworked portion of the population to go out and spend their hard earned money. Resutratins, bars, shops and other farang owned places won't mind I'm sure.

Crazy. I hate having to get these busses, always makes me feel a little uneasy as I know there's a 99% chance the driver is going to be a fool, like the fella in the video. Do they race to their destination in order to squeeze as many daily return journeys as possible to maximise income?
Thais not yet in the habit of driving safely

I'm not interested in people wearing helmets, it's their life and they know the potential dangers, let them do as they wish. I do have a problem with people riding with their children on the back of their bike without a helmet, this is where the law should step in and fine the parents. Also the parents who buy their wee ones bikes to ride around should also be fined. I genuinely don't think most Thais see any issues with the way they or those around them drive.
