  1. Why cant the management of MRT in Bangkok have terminals at stations where travel cards can be topped up with funds rather than queueing for 15-20mins at some stations, such as Sukhumvit and Silom. Seems so simple, Of course I know "simple" not in vocabulary of anything to do with customer service.

  2. Here we go again. The Bull Shit Deparment again. The problem is staring them in the face, but the cleaners on 300 Bt a day cannot keep up brushing it all under the carpet, no room any more.
1: Start paying your Police a living wage. And servier punishment for demanding envelopes with tee money in.
2: Make the road laws and punish the culprits where it will hurt them, because the Thai people know they will get away with it.
4-5 people on a bike and children allowed to ride them. Stop this, as far as confiscating the bike and making the parents responsible also for letting them use their bikes.
We can go on and on, but the law makers cannot be bothered, to much work for them.
They should look at the western world laws and what they do.
    end of the JOKE.

Those who think by giving Police a payrise will stop corruption are in cloud cuckoo land

  3. They are racists, and those officers at Thai/Cambodian borders are the worst (at both sides btw).

I once came with a tourist visa but my car overstayed and I lost the paper from customs, actually I think I didn't lose it but one of those immigration officers must have forgotten to return it to me at some point during entry because I honestly couldn't find it anywhere.

Then this Thai immigration guy starts yelling at me in Thai to which I reply, Mai Kao Chai (which means "I don't understand").

Then he says YOU TWO EDUCATION VISA, WHY YOU NOT SPEAK THAI???

I say: "Because I'm bloody stupid, that's why!!!"

He says: Hmm, okay I let you in this time, but next time if not speak Thai you not get in.

I smile at him and say 'thank you, let's see about next time' [emoji846]

They didn't even ask for money or to show money, but then again, I'm white.
so you had an education visa ! For what purpose? To learn Thai language or other reasons ! Lucky he let you in

  5. Thais don't seem to give a durn about road rules.  Last Monday I went by taxi to DMK airport.  The driver had his foot flat to the floor for the entire trip;  I asked him to slow down when he went over 120k/h, and he just laughed.

As we approached the airport turn-off, we passed a few 80k/h speed signs, but he just kept on at over 120.

Traffic police?  Speed cameras?   What a laugh.

Of course you’re correct ! The overwhelming number of accidents and fatalities are due to “bad driving standards “ The so called experts who refer to their knowledge about “Road Safety” and it being the main factor are frankly out of touch with reality !
