  5. Thailand never misses an opportunity to gouge those quality tourist.
  6. HPV Vaccine is far less effective for men after the age of 26. And if you already have the HPV virus the vaccine is no cure. This doctor sounds like a quack.
  7. a visa or ESTA doesn't guarantee entry... never has, and never will... provide false (untrue statements), incomplete, or inconsistent info on accommodations, and you play a dangerous game risking being turned around.
  8. As does Thailand. And every other sovereign country, particularly when it comes to visas and visa rules. FFS, Thailand's own visa requirements and rules live in iteration rather than permanence.
  9. The "public charge" provisions are not new, and said provisions have always made it next to impossible for the working class Thai to get simple tourist visas as well. The only Thai people who have ever had an easy entry path to the USA are the HiSo.
  10. FACTS: The pause takes effect starting Jan. 21, and will halt visa issuance to people looking to permanently immigrate, typically through marriage, family ties or work sponsorship. It doesn’t block people from obtaining tourist or temporary work visas.
  11. The "public charge" provisions made it next to impossible before the suspension.

  13. The strength of the THB against major currencies defies economic gravity and is disconnected from domestic fundamentals. We'll see how long it last.
  14. Do no harm while drunk and the law won't be enforced. If you do harm others while drunk this just means additional (potentially deeper) pockets to go after for compensation.
  15. At this point it feels like Thailand and Cambodia are just clowning Trump and each other. Everyone trying to make everyone else look bad in the eyes of the other
  16. How broke are you that you can't afford to buy a new phone without a monthly payment plan? A new Samsung A06 or A07 can be bought outright for as little at 4000thb cash.
  17. Buy a new phone... Android 10 is an outdated version that has been end-of-life since 2023, meaning it no longer receives official security updates, leaving devices vulnerable to unpatched flaws. Good reason not is use old phones for mobile banking.
  18. Seems like if they are looking at visa exempt abuse they could just flip through a person's passport.
  19. So he bought a pile of refined sugar for 100 baht... Congratulations 😂
  20. Damage to an old stamp? That has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
  21. The fact Ms. Columbia did not make the top 5 tells me the judging was a hoax.
  22. My guess is that there will be limited selective enforcement... they will focus on people behaving badly, and then enforce on them. Why else would they put this on the buyer and not the seller.
  23. So it's now a crime to drink after midnight? That's crazy.
