  1. How many people actually read their policies. That's the real leason here.
  2. Of course that did. And should. Cost of doing business just got more expensive.
  3. The depravity of human beings is astounding. Leason here is if the family believes the person to be dangerous, trust the family instinct.
  4. Again. Must be that time of year... Like floods or burning season... Just wait and it will come around again with no changes for the better.
  5. either immigration (again) didn't do its job (making sure the guy had onward travel), or he faked his onward travel with he entered the country.
  6. Again, it's the basics of economics you fail to understand... Even a 10% drop in oil supply creates a drastic increase in price because both the demand for oil and the supply of oil are highly inelastic in the short term. This means that when supply falls, consumers cannot quickly reduce their usage, and producers cannot instantly ramp up production to compensate.
  7. Only 3 oil tankers passing through the strait during the weekend of March 14-15, 2026, compared to a normal 40 tankers. Don't confuse maritime oil shipments with other delivery methods. The Strait of Hormuz normally sees 25% of maritime oil traffic, and now it's come to a near complete standstill. That has implications on global supply; and as global demand has not wained, the price of oil on the open market naturally goes up. Simple economics. It's no a conspiracy to inflate prices. It's supply and demand.
  8. Up country... Drove passed 3 stations all posting no diesel fuel before we could fill up... Lines of 20+ cars could be seen waiting for fuel closer to the population centres. Gouging and fraud about to get more common. TiT.
  9. Well at least TAT has a solid excuse for missing it's arrival projections for 2026. The sporadic airspace closures are one thing, but with 25% of the worlds maritime oil traversing the Strait of Hormuz, and most of it destined for Asia, jet fuel (as well as diesel, LPG and CNG) storages and severe price increases are right around the corner... You ain't seen nothing yet (if this continues) beyond April
  10. Thailand and safety protocols... Never the twain shall meet.
  11. Sad indeed. But I suspect there is more to the story than the driver is admitting. Because if there is one universal truth it's that Thais don't take responsibility for their poor driving skills.
  12. Moms will believe anything. Sorry for her loss. But I suspect they may have overdone the partying thing a bit. I'd be less surprised if the drugs they bought/used where tainted and that was the result of the deaths.
  13. well, this article aint about that. its about border control doing their jobs. so his comment is out of place
  14. Thailand should simply stop responding to any fake claims coming out of scambodia.
  15. When was the last time you had to showe 5 copies of your passport to border security?
  16. Refundable tax credit would have been better.
  17. Thailand never misses an opportunity to gouge those quality tourist.
  18. HPV Vaccine is far less effective for men after the age of 26. And if you already have the HPV virus the vaccine is no cure. This doctor sounds like a quack.
  19. The video will sort it out. Either the Brit deserved it (for throwing hands), or the Thai lies and is a sociopath.
  20. Erosion of decency? Can't really erode much further that what has become largely non-existent. Thailand can either come to grips with what they have created, and stop being shocked/complaining about it, or do something to reverse the tide. Of course they will do nothing because that will preserve current tourism numbers. So here we are. Get used to it.
  21. On the contrary, this is 💯 on brand for Pattaya 😂
  22. a visa or ESTA doesn't guarantee entry... never has, and never will... provide false (untrue statements), incomplete, or inconsistent info on accommodations, and you play a dangerous game risking being turned around.
  23. As does Thailand. And every other sovereign country, particularly when it comes to visas and visa rules. FFS, Thailand's own visa requirements and rules live in iteration rather than permanence.
