Good. Don't come. Mass tourism sucks. Go wherever it is you think is better. The only legit complaint is higher prices, really. But that's happening everywhere (to one degree or another). And if you can't figure out entry requirements (visas, VOA, VER) and entry forms (TDAC), maybe you shouldn't travel. Everything else in this article is just the same recycled blather... It's not hard to get a thai phone number (SIM) in your name, and to them open a bank account (in your name) using your thai number for mobile banking... remain calm.

It was Thai aviation air safety that was upgraded... FAA announced upgrade of Thailand's aviation rating to Category 1.
