  1. UK couple published book about a luxury pet hotel in the UK 🥱 Now let's see what they can do about all the abused soi dogs in Thailand... that would be something worthy to hear about. Not rich people boarding their pampered pets.
  2. Criminal charges of assault call for jail time if found guilty. Makes sense. Jail him and after his sentence, then deportation 💯💯💯
  3. Every AirAsia flight I've been on in the last 12 months has been sold out. So it doesn't seem to be impacting demand. Just did a RT to Roi-Et for 2 for just over 9000THB. Not overly pleased, but not outraged either. Is what it is.
  4. If you are dumb enough to post incriminating evidence on social media you deserve what's coming. Everyone involved should pay the maximum penalty under the law.
  5. You can't be serious. Why does anyone (and seemingly everyone) at the airport ask to see your boarding pass?
  6. Mr. Dieter is a dirt bag deluxe. And if the authorities need to pile on more charges to justify a case for deportation, sobeit. He may just want to book a one way out of the country before he finds himself behind bars.
  7. False! immigration officers have access to itinerary information. This includes flight tickets, which may require additional documentation or confirmation of validity.
  8. So what? Immigration bureau has a job to do and that's controlling foreign entry. This is just another example of how poorly the process is designed and how poorly they do their jobs.
  9. A 22 year with no long stay visa, or near term prospects of getting one, allowed to enter on a one-way just points to how broken the immigration bureau really is when it comes to screening foreign entry.
  10. Like you say... it's all computerize. Not that hard to check.
  11. More whataboutism 🥱 why bring up a different issue, unrelated to knucklehead foreigners? All you are doing is deflecting attention away from the original point of the post/thread... whataboutism is just a fallacy; because even if there where other Thai criminals (and there are; but traffic/transportation "crime" 🤣... snooze, not news, worthily), none of it addresses the original point that knucklehead foreigners need to go. Give it a rest. Foreigners mad about aggressive tuk tuk drivers trying to make ends meet in a tough economy is rich AF 🤣 Here is some advice, take care of your ownself, control your ownself and stop worrying about the "other" low-lifes that get away with being jerks (or worse).
  12. Not as many as that question the creditability of this government 🤣
  13. Probably has an open warrant for his arrest back home🤣... easier to do the lite sentences meted out in THA. Admit guilt (to avoid the courts), pay the fines, apologize, and his sentence will be halved. Sorry, they gave him a choice (but that's his right apparently), because Thailand would be a better place without people like him here #facts
  14. The only non-sense here it your statement above 👆 No foreigner is being execute or torn limb from limb by angry mobs. In every case of foreigners behaving badly (to the point of breaking the law), the punishment fits the crime. In fact, losing one's visa and being deported is the easy way out (as compared to prison). Good riddance to garbage foreigners who can't follow simple rules of civil behavior (that break established law). And if those same foreigners lose their Thailand privileges, and their property/businesses, they have only themselves to blame. No sympathy for scofflaws, miscreants, criminals, or their enterprises.
  15. Just because you don't get a pass for doing wrong when someone else does? It's just whining. Don't break the laws, and never a problem you will have. Very straight forward, and simple, and not hard to abide. Really.
  16. Why all the whining? Don't do anything wrong, and you don't have to worry. No one is getting deported for no reason.
  17. Lol. You can't deport a Thai national from their own country.
  18. So it would seem. But there is no excuse why immigration can't do the same sitting comfortably at their computers (heaven forbid they work too hard) when someone passes through passport control on entry.
  19. The article was about the 2 swiss guys. Sure, any foreigners behaving above the law deserve to suffer consequences when caught - including, but not limited to jail, deportation and blacklisting (as does anyone caught breaking the laws of civil society).
  20. Did they ever leave? 10 years ago and counting.
  21. Good. Taken out the trash 🗑️ but the thing about trash is that it always has a way of piling up, no matter how often it's taken out.
  22. Tourist. Absolutely. But not if on a long stay visa/extension (retirement, marriage, etc.), NonB, LTR, or Elite.
  23. The swiss guy who broke the old ladies nose deserves jail time following by deportation and blacklisted.
