    When leaving they will check your bank accounts and credit cards, and it you did not withdrawal enough or go into enough debt, you will be forced to return to your hotel and spend until authorities are satisfied.

Stupidity, speed, poor lighting (which is everywhere in Thai at night), slick asphalt roads... a receipt for disaster. Not that it would have mattered much, but I assume not a hemet a worn by anyone.

    UK could just be a smoke screen... he could make a left turn and head to Brazil. Could also head to a number of countries in Africa, or even some of the former Soviet states (besides Russia). There are a number a countries that don't have extradition treaties with THA.

    Smart thing to do is to never return. I'm sure he has substantial funds stashed somewhere to live quite comfortably overseas indefinitely.

    Rich Thais (the only ones who can afford intl travel) can easily get visas anyway. But this does open up a market for prostitutes and marriage scams 😂... Not really much use to the majority of everyone else.

    Heavy on words, lite on substance. Same as it ever was (or will be). If only they would just toss the criminals they already know about or catch, that would be progress. As a non-criminal, this affects me not.

    They will be issuing him a prison visa very soon. No visit to immigration office necessary.

    Not unexpected. Now it only remains to be seen if their parents money will get them out of the country without any jail time, or not. Honestly, jail would be a good message for these 2 clowns.

    There is also evidence on the cops phone of the NZs trying to bribe their way out of the final stop, and eye witnesses at the noodle shop where the final stop occured. Hamish and Oscar did a stupid thing and will face consequences. That is a near certainty. As it should be. Should have just obligated the original traffic stop. Everyone knows those stop points are designed to sweep in as many as possible. But they also let go as many as they fine.

    And the fact the NZs evaded an order by police to stop. It all starts with one bad decision. And that was what triggered everything. Even if the NZ bozos through the call to stop was unjustified, and even if the cop drew his weapon (on 2 fleeing and evading perpetrators), the NZs are on thin ice.

    Yeah, so scared they didn't run off, just decided to hang out with the cop after the wrestling match to chat about it. 😂
