Except that's not remotely what happened. There was no chase - George Floyd was sitting peacefully in a car, not attempting to flee.  The police had not seen him stealing anything, though they had a report that he was suspected of paying with a counterfeit note (something that has not been proven, by the way).

The extensive video footage shows no real attempt to resist arrest that I can see. He was put into a police car, then pulled out of the police car, put face down on the floor and restrained with a knee on his neck for eight minutes until he stopped breathing, according to the statement of probable cause submitted by the Hennepin District Attorney. The whole time he was on the ground, he was pleading with the officer that he couldn't breathe. Multiple bystanders were also pointing out that Floyd was in severe distress, was not resisting and was unable to breathe. Even after he appeared to stop breathing, Chauvin still kept him pinned down for about another 3 minutes.

That's nothing like a suspect dying during a "hot pursuit" by a police officer who actually  witnessed a crime in progress.

Have you seen the videos, why were the cops scrambling around the back seat of car trying to contain Floyd. So, you want me to believe the cops pulled him out of the car for no good reason so they could kill Floyd in front of all cameras.

After he was cuffed he fell to the ground to avoid being put in car. That's not resisting in your book?? If Floyd had sat in the car without fighting everyone he's be in a jail cell instead of the morgue.

Chasing after an alleged criminal & him dieing, cannot, in any way, be compared to what happened to Floyd.

You talking about clear minded people who aren't influenced by whether or not their decision will result in rioting and looting. After all this settles down, god help a cop if he uses one profanity or deviates from words in a rule book. They will be scrutinized to the point of being inefficient against criminals.

Would you put your job at risk by apprehending a criminal? If you violate some rule, you could end up fired and in prison.

  3. A thief snatches a purse, how does a cop that sees this stop the thief? Well, I hope the cop in good enough shape to chase the thief down and perhaps tackle him. Now suppose the thief dies, now the thief has heart disease, fentanyl and barb. in system. Will the cop be guilty of murder???

Because that's where we're heading if we aren't careful. These cops will not be found guilt of murder, manslaughter maybe.

    What's wow about it?

I never took a taxi even though I could have afforded it as I preferred to spend my money on having a good time.

However, I can't believe any farang would go to Pattaya for the beach. Samet or Chang perhaps, and they ain't only a thousand baht in a taxi.

For me ease of travel is part of my good time. Understand taking the bus from BKK to Pattaya is an easy task as I've done it several times. But, your next time to Pattaya treat yourself to a private taxi service to pick you up at the meeting place at BKK. You're worth it.

He was restrained by police and put in the vehicle before being dragged out of it again - Why?  Why the need to kneel on the victim's neck for a prolonged period of time?

Potential intoxicants - Who knew at the time?  If the police did then the action of kneeling on the neck in full knowledge of the intoxicants is criminally reckless.

Underlying health conditions - Who knew at the time?  If the police did then the action of kneeling on the neck in full knowledge of the intoxicants is criminally reckless.

A person who has been arrested, searched and handcuffed behind their back can offer no lethal threat to an officer.  The safety and well being of the arrested person is the responsibility of the officer.

Why was he taken back out of the car? I'm betting he was taken to the ground to stop him from injuring himself, certainly not the officers.

Many questions to be answered, so what should the public do in the meantime...….let's burn the place down of course.

How do you know he was on coke or crack or that the dollar bill in question was fake. The only report I've seen about the bill being fake admits it's just an allegation.

You kneel on a fit healthy 20 year old man's neck for nearly 10 minutes he's still going to die. Try it some time, Oh no you'd better not, you'll get arrested for murder.

Floyd was on his stomach, knee was on back of neck, not on the throat. Knee was on back of neck.

As for the $20. bill, I read the ink was still wet.

Bottom line the dude was cuffed he was no threat to the cops the minority’s aren’t going to tolerate this kind of treatment anymore I don’t blame them that beeing said I hope the riots stop enough division

But was the victim a threat to himself? Is that why he was being held down? As medical experts analyze the videos and autopsy reports a clear view of what killed Floyd will take place.

Where does the report mention how long it takes to die if deprived of air.

It's a stupid, meaningless report for stupid people who want to excuse the actions of a power crazed thug and his cronies in police uniforms.

George Floyd died from the combined effects of being restrained by police, potential intoxicants and his underlying health issues, including heart disease, according to preliminary findings from an autopsy.

It revealed nothing to support strangulation as the cause of death, the Associated Press reported.
