Yeah after all what is the life of one black man worth in your eyes to that of a cop. The prejudice is showing strong on this thread.
Again 144 cops killed with no rioting, you don't think many of the murdered cops were black, Asian or Latino.

So, you didn't watch it huh? That's cool.
I watched part of it, I can laugh at it. But it doesn't belong here, bad timing.

The medical examiner's preliminary report said Floyd had "other significant conditions," including "arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease, a fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine use.

If a private citizen had killed another private citizen in the same manner s/he would have been arrested and detained while charges are filed.
Your analogy is meaningless as a private citizen would never have been put in this situation.

It's time for the Black community to give up the Thug mentality. They sing about it in their songs for decades now. Seems if they can't get rich playing ball or rapping then they're downtrodden.
If you read the history of the accused policeman, you see a 19 yr veteran with the Police Force who served honorably. He put himself in harms way many times. I understand the short video of Floyd is hard to watch but I also believe once the accused has a chance to speak he'll shine some light on this.

What's wow about it?
I never took a taxi even though I could have afforded it as I preferred to spend my money on having a good time.
However, I can't believe any farang would go to Pattaya for the beach. Samet or Chang perhaps, and they ain't only a thousand baht in a taxi.
For me ease of travel is part of my good time. Understand taking the bus from BKK to Pattaya is an easy task as I've done it several times. But, your next time to Pattaya treat yourself to a private taxi service to pick you up at the meeting place at BKK. You're worth it.

So a guy who dropped to his knees for what could be numerous reasons deserved to be murdered after 8 minutes of torture for doing so ??
Police and now entitled to murder people who resist arrest (IF he did)
Are you for real ?
I would suggest waiting for autopsy report before any further accusations.

No speculating. The man was under control and the cop knelt on his neck for 8 minutes which caused his death.
Were you there? Did you enhance the video, perhaps enlarge some frames, tweak the audio. I thought we learned our lessons about jumping to conclusions without all the facts.

The rear of the police car is designed and constructed to minimize the potential for an arrested person to injure themselves, he would be safer in the back.
I haven't been in the back of a cop car in many years, and when I was I didn't fall to the ground on purpose.
Right now everyone is speculating.

He was restrained by police and put in the vehicle before being dragged out of it again - Why? Why the need to kneel on the victim's neck for a prolonged period of time?
Potential intoxicants - Who knew at the time? If the police did then the action of kneeling on the neck in full knowledge of the intoxicants is criminally reckless.
Underlying health conditions - Who knew at the time? If the police did then the action of kneeling on the neck in full knowledge of the intoxicants is criminally reckless.
A person who has been arrested, searched and handcuffed behind their back can offer no lethal threat to an officer. The safety and well being of the arrested person is the responsibility of the officer.
Why was he taken back out of the car? I'm betting he was taken to the ground to stop him from injuring himself, certainly not the officers.
Many questions to be answered, so what should the public do in the meantime...….let's burn the place down of course.

I can appreciate being thrifty, but are you saying that a 1000 bht taxi is keeping you from Pattaya? Wow....

How do you know he was on coke or crack or that the dollar bill in question was fake. The only report I've seen about the bill being fake admits it's just an allegation.
You kneel on a fit healthy 20 year old man's neck for nearly 10 minutes he's still going to die. Try it some time, Oh no you'd better not, you'll get arrested for murder.
Floyd was on his stomach, knee was on back of neck, not on the throat. Knee was on back of neck.
As for the $20. bill, I read the ink was still wet.

Bottom line the dude was cuffed he was no threat to the cops the minority’s aren’t going to tolerate this kind of treatment anymore I don’t blame them that beeing said I hope the riots stop enough division
But was the victim a threat to himself? Is that why he was being held down? As medical experts analyze the videos and autopsy reports a clear view of what killed Floyd will take place.

Where does the report mention how long it takes to die if deprived of air.
It's a stupid, meaningless report for stupid people who want to excuse the actions of a power crazed thug and his cronies in police uniforms.
George Floyd died from the combined effects of being restrained by police, potential intoxicants and his underlying health issues, including heart disease, according to preliminary findings from an autopsy.
It revealed nothing to support strangulation as the cause of death, the Associated Press reported.

Completely off topic, but I guess you can’t stomach the idea of the cop being charged with murder (the actual topic under discussion).
I'm sure you want the looters and the folks setting fire to buildings and vehicles to be held accountable. As far as the cop goes, we'll see after all is investigated.

Minneapolis police officer charged with murder of George Floyd

A thief snatches a purse, how does a cop that sees this stop the thief? Well, I hope the cop in good enough shape to chase the thief down and perhaps tackle him. Now suppose the thief dies, now the thief has heart disease, fentanyl and barb. in system. Will the cop be guilty of murder???
Because that's where we're heading if we aren't careful. These cops will not be found guilt of murder, manslaughter maybe.
