Here's one. In the deep Isaan village we had a guy down the dirt soi play the sound of a bouncing ping pong ball on his speaker in the morning. A slow bouncing sound, asked my ole lady about it and she said others tried making him stop but "up to him"
A bit different for us foreigners in Thailand who must show at least double the average Thai monthly income to have a visa and 12 mos extension. The foreigners coming to Britian expect to be taken care of and given residency.
I see a difference as does most clear thinking induvials.
Barely survives is a bit dramatic. I ride big bikes around Pattaya. Riding a push bike would be scary as fork. Heck just walking down Bukhao is traumatizing.
As far as vehicle transport I think it's quite a bit too much. Plus an entire day lost due to travel. I'd very much like to try the ferry but when others come into the picture planning a happy trip gets harder.
I saw the video a few days ago. Looks good 1500 thb for one reclining chair. The cabins are a bit pricey as is car transport at 2250 for 1 vehicle/ one way. 22 hr trip.
Reading? No, perhaps browsing in amazement that it just keeps on going. Super longevity.
Standing by to stand by. Oh, and I didn't start this thread but I feel a bit honored that you follow me so closely.
I don't understand either. I've taken the bus before a few times some years back. No more for me, private driver all the way. But, there's a certain mindset with some guys, like taking buses and public transportation is part of the charm.
So, let me get this right? There's cheap restaurants but no simple Thai restaurants in Ao Nang?
And, it's not rundown and dirty. We stayed at Holiday Ao Nang, super nice hotel.
