Extremely poor try. Even yinn could do better. -
The middle finger used to be in the mogi options. I used it once years ago, not intended to be bad, like when friends give each other the finger at times. Anyway, I was suspended for using an option provided. Go figure.

Weird thing is when you have 3 guests to a room the price almost doubles. This looks nice, thanks

I see that Ao Nang Beach is the most popular with tourists. Looking for recommendations of a nice hotel on the beach, a nice breakfast included is nice, outside restaurants and bars nearby. Trying to stay in the 5-6 K baht range but it's hard to judge by pics online what is good. Anyone with personal experience please give your impressions.

Mine have been paid for awhile. I don't shoot for high rent. I just keep them rolling and happy with a small return. I like owning land in the US. Have some repairs to make the next year so won't have much profit. No illusion for rentals that are paid for. I'm just not in it to make top dollar. I have long time renters in place. One the rent remained the same now for 15 yrs because the renters make alot of their own repairs, saves me the headaches. The other I have a Co to handle and they raise rent a bit but not top tier.

4-6 month job assignments. Worked 7 days a week, sometimes every 3rd week could have a day off......sometimes and sometimes no days off. 12-15 hr days were common, but that's how you make money.

Keeping homes in the US as rentals is a pain. I have 2 rentals and the repair bills, taxes and Ins are starting to put a squeeze on my finances. To top it off the stock markets are down so withdrawing 401 K money is a downer. Thailand is definitely a place for a healthy retiree with limited funds to hang their hat. As has been said before, the unknown is what keeps the majority from making the move to Thailand. Health insurance would be the biggest.... what if? If all you have is $2000./mo SS and no paid for home, life is dismal in the US. No way to afford rent and live in a reasonable manner.

Everybody says Thais don't like it when you complain...
EVENKEEL replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I'm not complaining but something extremely strange is happening on this forum. it's like all the teachers left the school and the kids are able to do as they please. -
Last year was the first time with my 10 yr old. Went to the Amphur and got the official letter, had copies of mother's passport and DL. Nobody asked for anything. This year was our second trip and didn't bother with new letter. As a side note here. Last year I went through the Thai passport holder immigration with my kid at BKK. This year leaving BKK, they have a new system where only a Thai passport holder can be processed in the Thai line. The passport is scanned with no IO, I had to drop out of line and get with the foreigners. If the kid is way young, could be an issue. Now coming back to Thailand I was able to follow the kid through the Thai passport holder line as an IO processed the thai passports in person.

The one bad thing about one way is the collateral damage to traffic on either end.

Light coloured or dark coloured car choice.

I love black, was all set for a black MUX, saw the black trim package and ordered the pearl white. For one thing you don't see the dirt as bad Nothing looks better than a shiny black paint job.
