I'm on the eastern seaboard and only a few mainland beaches look same as your pic year round. As the tides change the trash gets brought in to many beaches and it looks like the other pic with trash.

Depends the time of year for many beaches in Thailand. That pic is not the average.

I spent 2-4 months a year in San Diego from National City to Pt. Loma awaiting job assignments. But if it makes you feel good continue telling fibs, but I know better. Perhaps you're living a secluded life in a gated community.
