  1. No person with an IQ of 130 would be posting the deranged rant you have posted without serious mental problems.
  2. I don't know what the truth is. On the face of it, there do seem to be failures in security. Whether they are from malice or incompetence remains to be seen.
  3. I have explained it to you, with examples. I can't understand it for you.
  4. Trump has not exactly made himself a pin-up boy of the Secret Service. Think of how he was making millions off playing golf with them in attendance, in an environment where it was impossible to provide protection from a long range sniper. Then there were the events of January 6, where he tried to override the detail assigned to him, and go to the Capitol. Or putting their lives at risk during COVID, by refusing to wear a mask. The Secret Service are professionals. However, given Trump's behaviors, the job must be a major PITA.
  5. IIRC OneMoreFarang posted a photo of Trump holding some kind of rifle, demonstrating his support of the second Amendment and the NRA. Perhaps you don't appreciate the irony of a staunch proponent of the freedom to bear arms, nearly getting nailed by said freedom.
  6. Trump has spent all his political life stoking division and bigotry. An assassination attempt from a mentally-unbalanced person is not unexpected. A couple of commentators have expressed surprise attempts have not been made sooner. I suppose the defenders of the Second Amendment will claim the Secret Service having guns saved Trump. But what if the gunman's shot was more accurate?
  7. I am not blaming Trump. It is when the claim is made there were no wars during his presidency, that I call BS. IIRC Trump was the guy who asked if it was feasible to nuke Iran, which is hardly the language of a pacifist. That was in the last months of his presidency, when he knew he was losing and thought a nice war, Margaret Thatcher style, could help burnish his credentials at the ballot box.
  8. Funny you should ask that. The Afghanistan War started in 2001, when George Bush was President. A Republican.
  9. The US did not leave Afghanistan until 2021. The war there went on for the whole of Trump's presidency. As you say, an inconvenient truth.
  10. A camera down the throat is an endoscopy. A camera up the rear end is a colonoscopy. Foods high in fibre such as Kelloggs' All - Bran, bamboo etc. may help in restoring a healthy gut, as does kimchi or sauerkraut. Alternatively, a good cleanout can be achieved with PEG 3350, known under various names such as Macrogol, Moviprep, Glycoprep etc. When doing a colonoscopy, the surgeon pumps up the colon with air, like a football. In rare cases, called barotrauma. too much pressure can cause injury.
  11. I agree, but there will always be people who want to suck up to power or wealth.
  12. BS. He does it every time he gets on a podium. Maybe you have forgotten how he compared himself to Jesus, and grifted the "Trump bible". Have you had yourself checked for cognitive decline?
  13. Trump is well known in golfing circles as a cheat, and he only wins "championships" on courses he owns. It's pathetic, and laughable. In answer to your question, I am 81 and still play golf regularly. In other news, there has been an attempt to assassinate Trump. https://www.thenewdaily.com.au/news/world/us-news/trump-news/2024/07/14/donald-trump-shooting?ahe=165755d3f0e53a403f7622284bbd6db710943f73f476be12cc8441299a38f85a&acid=3976399&utm_campaign=News Alert - 20240714&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Adestra&lr_hash=6532358006ffdf91b6b45ab0f13d0b1c Maybe it's time to dig out my copy of Richard Condon's "The Manchurian Candidate" again.
  14. While you are doing that, why not euthanase any American with an IQ under 90?
  15. The whole point of stainless is it should not need painting. If it is painted, it's difficult to get decent adhesion without a fairly savage acid etch, or a lot of abrasion to create a good key. It's not as simple as painting white, a primer designed for use with stainless is also required.
  16. Check out the mandatory division of assets upon the breakdown of relationships in the UK, USA and Australia before you call them civilised.
  17. I freely admit to being an ATM. I joke about it with my GF. She gives back in many ways. Not that it is very likely we would split, but the cost of parting here is very much less than my experiences in Australia. I guess I am an ATM in control of withdrawals, who doesn't get his knickers in a twist about it.
  18. If you think electing Trump will achieve those outcomes - yes, you are stupid.
  19. IMO even George Orwell would be surprised by the amount of doublethink going on. Trump is 78 yo, only 3 years younger than Biden. He has his share of gaffes, confusing Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi etc. etc. In terms of seguing off into topics such as horrible cities and electric boats. He's even more doolally than Biden, yet gets a free pass. The rational thing to do would be having both candidates tested for cognitive impairment, with professional opinion on their fitness to fulfill the role of President. Of course, rationality in politics is an oxymoron.
  20. Looking at your comment from another angle, it is odds on Nikki Haley would have wiped the floor with Biden before she abandoned all pretense of integrity. You seem to be forgetting the fact Trump is still facing sentencing in a couple of months time. Judge Merchan could throw a huge spanner in the works if he opts for a jail term, and given Trump's lack of remorse and multiple counts of contempt of court, the possibility does exist.
  21. Probably not. If you can afford an EV, the electricity is much cheaper than the gasoline it replaces. Those who cannot afford increases in electricity tariffs are effectively subsidizing EV owners.
  22. Thais almost invariably want new, and EV's are the latest fad. They also go into steep debt to get their new toy. Every day, there are vehicle carriers heading back to Bangkok from Chiang Rai with repossessed EV's and ICE's. IMO the bigger issue is what this EV uptake means. There could be an undersupply of charging infrastructure. It reminds me of how people used to queue up for CNG supply. More EV's means more demand for electricity, which means increased prices. Mae Moh in northern Thailand is arguably the dirtiest electricity generator on the planet. It is currently undergoing expansion, presumably to meet increased demand. Exporting pollution from an EV to a fossil fuel power station is simply virtue signalling. While demand for EV's here is increasing, it seems the trend in other countries is towards hybrid vehicles. I believe it's called having a bet each way.
  23. Interesting. I have seen station dogs in Australia who get horribly mistreated by their owners, and come back for more. I certainly hope my GF would not pee with excitement on greeting me after a period of separation.
  24. If you don't feed a dog, it will lose interest.
  25. I go through the public hospital system, much cheaper although long wait times. Just wondering how many lemons you sucked before you posted.
