My measure of breakfast at any hotel is how well they can cook scrambled eggs. The two best in Thailand were in Mae Hong Son and Udon Thani.

It's always hard to say how many Russians are being killed. The Kremlin will downplay the losses, the Ukrainians will exaggerate them. The Ukrainians are fighting a modern war, combined arms and the accent on mobility. The Russians are still fighting with poorly-motivated conscripts and a top-heavy command structure, World War I and II style. Human wave stuff. The battle of Stalingrad resulted in 1.1 million Russian casualties, over a period of 6 months and 2 weeks. Given Russia's fighting methods do not seem to have changed appreciably, IMO a figure of 16 K is quite credible.

IMO he is a frustrated Hollywood script writer, rejected by every producer.

After a while, when I was working, all the high-end hotels got to be the same. Expensive, and not really worth it. I can remember my first trip to America, when I was still wet behind the ears. I landed in Dallas, asked the taxi driver to take me to the Hilton. He responded "Which one?" I said "What do you mean, which one?" He replied "There's four of them in Dallas." With the talk about tuck-ins and housekeeping, maybe the OP is hoping for a freebie with a hotel maid.

When you posted yin and yang - a bit more for link. I thought you meant my second link would not open, which is why I posted the link again in its complete form. When I tried to open your link according to the above post, it would not. Do you often jump to conclusions, and make unwarranted attacks on people?

If I had only rented women, I'd be a multi-millionaire. -
I must have saved it just for you. Stupid posts deserve a bucket of cold water.

I didn't see any house cleaning during his presidency. He was too busy playing golf.

The Larsen Ice shelf's most dramatic collapse happened in 2002. The Brunt Ice shelf breakup is happening now. That's in Antarctica. In the Arctic, Greenland has been shedding 270 billion metric tons per year since 2002. These are not predictions, they are fact. https://science.nasa.gov/resource/video-greenland-ice-mass-loss-2002-2023/

It's immaterial to your generation and mine, because we will be gone. By 2050, the flow of water from the Tibetan Plateau to the Mekong, Ganges and Brahmaputra will be halved. That's assuming the Chinese don't build any more dams in Tibet. They have more than one thousand dams there already. 1 billion people in Asia depend on that water for growing food. It will make current economic migrations look petty in comparison. In human history, how many wars do you think have been fought over water?

My opinion is based on fact. Central Australia has temperatures exceeding 40 C 100-150 days of the year, Chiang Rai has 2-3 days. Chiang Rai has mild winds. It's very rare to get anything above 20 km/hr. OTOH, Melbourne is on the 40 degree latitude. In winter, we get a forecast for 12 C. It's actually 3 C after windchill. In summer, days of hot northerly winds which are sticky and very uncomfortable. Winds are 50 - 60 km/hr. In storms, they exceed 100 km/hr. While your post may be generally correct as to latitude, it fails to take into account the effect of topography. Chiang Rai is at the foothills of the Himalayas. Mountains and coasts modify weather.

I'm cheating on my wife and I can't help it.

Post all about it in salacious detail on Asean. It won't help the problem, but you'll feel better because confession is good for the soul. Alternatively, see a doctor. Priapism is a recognised medical condition. Do not think because I am posting serious advice I am taking your post seriously, Bob.
