I have to wonder how people can become billionaires and also be fruitcakes. Perhaps the fruitcake aspect develops after they achieve billionaire status, and there are no more constraints.

In Australia, it is north of $500 a week for a VERY average house. I have a much better standard of living in Thailand than I could hope for in Oz.

When I see threads like this, I just wonder what the hell people are bitching about. I am currently in Australia, paying as much for one avocado as I would for a kilo in Chiang Rai. Being unable to speak or read Chinese, the only comments I can offer: It does remind me of the film "Raise The Red Lantern" starring Gong Li. I once went via rail from Hong Kong to Shenzhen.
