Biden to deliver high-stakes State of the Union address: Live updates
Lacessit replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Biden is smart enough to not have to part with $83 million, unlike Trump, who did not have the sense to keep his mouth shut. Is there anything dumber than Trump going back to a judge who he attacked, to ask for a bond reduction, because he could not raise $450 million for the appeal? -
Trump says country faces ‘bloodbath’ if Biden wins in November
Lacessit replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It's increasingly looking like his only chances of staying out of jail. Either get re-elected, or stage an insurrection. -
Each to his own. With luck, I'll be in Melbourne tomorrow. I can't say I am looking forward to it, I would much rather stay here. $5 for a cup of coffee, $30 for a pub meal. $80 for a one hour massage. Bloody ridiculous.

Wise choice, for a change. You would not find errors, there aren't any. My post count is only relevant in demonstrating my attention to detail, and the range of topics I contribute to. It's quite comprehensive. Now take a look at your 998 posts. You have no other subject but Trump, a monomaniacal obsession with a felon. Who's the fool now? Your constant posting errors demonstrate you are typical of the education level of his supporters, barely making it out of primary school. -
I suppose I could do that, more convenient to hop on the scooter here. The exchange rate was 23.6 baht to one AUD, which I thought was OK. OTOH, buying baht with AUD, it was 22.1.

One kid, she didn't work because she didn't like working. It wasn't as if she was beating clothes on a wet rock, she had all the modern conveniences. -
Who are the previous owners? If they are Asian, proceed with caution . If they don't have up-to-date service books, walk away. Bear in mind winding back odometers is a national sport in Thailand. The 4WD version is more complex to service than the FWD, another factor to consider. It's a fairly agricultural vehicle. AFAIK the engines are rough but reliable. The electrical systems have been known to have issues.

Please point me to any spelling error in my 23,800 posts. You may be able to catch me out on grammar if you look long enough. Knock yourself out. -

I don't agree with splitting assets when I have done 95% of the earning. And 100% of the houses, cars, and kids education. -

Spelling and grammar deficiencies are to be expected, it's the total vacuum of critical thinking which defines his supporters. -

There's a Thai saying, old cattle prefer young grass. Contrary to the OP's opinion, it's possible to form a lasting relationship with someone much younger. There are quite a few men in Australia who are saddled with women their age. The women have aged badly. They are petrified at the prospect of a split, where the woman will take half the assets quite legally. No one can tell me such a relationship is healthy.- 149 replies

No, it's an abbreviation of gonad. Perhaps the treatment is supposed to restore or enhance function in said organ.

Perhaps it is only when they go to Australia that they start whinging. It's probably too harsh for their delicate constitutions.

Have you heard of competition? His 50 metres up the road had ample AUD. He was obviously too lazy to bother with snagging an extra customer by staying open an extra few minutes, for all I know the "mai mee" was a lie to get rid of me. IIRC you are the poster that said sugar in petrol is an urban myth, and dug yourself in deeper when I disproved that statement with solubility data. Did you bring a shovel with you this time?

It could be worse, Trans. They could wear the caps backwards, with the MAGA logo facing forward.......... -
Would you think it reasonable if you went to the same shop, with the GBP listed, and he told you he didn't have any? It's a money EXCHANGE shop, how would anyone make a living if they had nothing to exchange?

Definitely not the same planet as you. I don't support a guy who has 91 and counting indictments against him. Spare me the BS about them being politically motivated, every one of those indictments was determined by a grand jury of Trump's fellow citizens. -

One of the factors in military competence is logistics. American proficiency in logistics during the Berlin Airlift came as a stunning shock to the Russians. I have not seen US military logistics first hand. I've seen plenty of logistics at the conferences I attended in the USA, organizers managing the accommodation, catering and transport of anywhere between 10,000 and 50,000 people. I have to say it is one area in which America excels. -

Fact checking was not necessary decades ago. While it was common for politicians to exaggerate their position, not many resorted to outright lies. Trump's scrutiny is self-inflicted, no-one lies with the frequency and falsity he manages to achieve. When he gets caught out in a lie, he responds with an ad hominem attack. That may work well for him on the campaign trial. It doesn't seem to be getting much traction in the courts, and he knows it. What innocent person constantly seeks adjournments and delays? -

Trump will be picking yes-men and toadies, just like he did last time. The narcissistic side of his personality ensures that, because he can't stand the thought there may be someone in the room who is smarter than him. The ramifications of a weakened US military go far beyond America itself. Be careful what you wish for. -

IIRC Trump averaged 21 lies a day during his presidency, according to analysts and fact checkers. He is also losing the plot more frequently in his campaign speeches. I can see my use of a Latin expression went straight through to the wicketkeeper. -
In preparation for a return to Australia, I went looking in the main drag of Chiang Rai for a money exchanger. I like to have cash as well as a debit card, belt and braces. The first shop I came to, the employee/proprietor was just locking up, presumably for lunch. What time do you come back? 1 pm ( at 11.30 am ). Do you have Australian dollars? Mai mee. This despite a big sign in the window, listing AUD, among other currencies. I then drove my scooter no more than 50 metres to another exchanger who happily gave me $450 for my Thai baht. How the hell do some of these guys make a living?
